the issue I am having is that I am getting hesitation and am not sure how to read the OBDELEVEN chart to troubleshoot the issue. When it happens, you can see the rev counter jumps and feel the car hesitate for a split second.
Your morning log seems to show that your car is over boosting (sligtly). This seems fine in my opinion. I would like to see your accelerator pedal position values. My issue is that I don't want to use vehicle speed in the same manner as engine RPM, so I like seeing the log as a dyno pull in a single gear.
Can you use this link below to see if it seems more plausible?
Looking at chart20191217.xlsx (33.77 KB) I don't see where the accelerator pedal is fully floored beyond 68%, so I can't comment on max boost here, but it is observed that there is a mechanical delay in the turbo actually providing the requested boost. This looks normal in my opinion.
Looking at chart20191218.xlsx, I see where you mean business with the 80% accelerator pedal. Again, the results seem the same here. I wouldn't worry about your turbo as it is indeed delivering. I suggest you do a throttle body adaptation, and also recalibrate the kick-down feature of your accelerator pedal for good measure.
Here on this forum, we need to start standardizing single gear pulls such as 4th gear from about 2,000 RPM to redline on a flat unobstructed road or test track. Your pedal movements stayed at 14% then skipped over 32% before going to 47%. That isn't consistent for a fair single gear pull and may indicate a "dirty" accelerator pedal connector (such as a bad potentiometer). 6-speed transmissions are done in 4th (1:1) and 7 speed in 5th (1:1).
You only do lower gears if you only have a short road / test-track. The accelerator should be floored just to the point of the kickdown until the vehicle gains speed and will not do an automatic downshift, then fully fllored at that point to redline. You can feel the kickdown switch with enough practice. All testing is done with all traction control options disabled (if equiped).
So far, your car seems fine in my opinion. I'd suggest you check your fuel pressures. Fully floored, your pedal should be showing at least 90% per OBD2 standards. Check its range of motion with the engine OFF, ignition ON in OBDeleven.
