So I had to replace my steering rack on my 2014 GLI, and it needs the adaptation. ECS, steering lights etc. are lit up on the dash. Stumbled upon OBDeleven on the internet and was wondering if it was capable of doing the programing. Maybe save a few bucks verses going to the dealer? Steering rack was really expensive ($1500 USD) so any money saved would be great.

EASY
With the engine on in a large parking lot (no tools needed): Turn the steering wheel to the extreme left. Hold it there for 10 seconds. Turn the steering wheel to the extreme right. Hold it there for 10 seconds. Straighten steering wheel and tyres. Wait 10 seconds. Drive in a straight line (i'd say about 30 meters is good to erase the warning light).
For the TPMS light, this is even easier. Switch on ignition. As you switch on the ignition press both the TPMS and traction control buttons simultaenously for 2 seconds and release. The TPMS warning should clear (once there are no other steering rack and ABS fault codes.
