I think this is same what was requested here forum.obdeleven.com/thread/5833/retaining-logging-parameters-future-session. "If there are text outputs that you cant add to the chart output then just give the user a warning and exclude the data item from the extract." I don't mind how the charting handles the text values but I do want them to the CSV export.

PLEASE get this implemented. I've had to continually recommended the OBD11 is somewhat useless for anyone looking to log or monitor their car for this exact reason. Make the product right! I hate to say this, but I'd happily pay 5 or 10 dollars for this as an add feature. The dongle will continue sitting in my glovebox to collect dust for 'emergency only' utility otherwise.

And some talk about excel export data file, someone can explain how to export in *.xlsx Excel?
I just cannot find how to change it, look every ware in the App.

I just cannot find how to change it, look every ware in the App. Thanks hope some one can explain. Here is how after reading every ware I found what I think the easiest solution. This is the way I see some ones need to know how. 1.- Go to your Garage 2.- Select the Car. 3.- Select History, Back up. Or whatever info you need. 4.- On the right corner in your App, find an envelope icon, press it, it will generate the text. 5.- After pressed the system will generate a log, it takes few minutes all will depends in how much data you are requesting. 6.- After ready a new window will show up. Asking wish source, you may use to send the data. (In my case I select e-mail and press) 7.- Give the desired e-mail address and send it. 8.- After you have access to the *.txt document, select all and Copy the inside text, and paste in a new spread sheet excel document. ( Colum A line 1) 9.- Wala is done, from this point not any more copy and paste. 10.- Ready is all what this can do, now slowly you must organize the information by yourself. If someone knows another better method please advise.  |

Hi,
can charts, or other log metod, be implemented in the basic settings, not only for live data, for export in csv format? VCDS make log and is useful in some diagnostic procedures.

Its on the IOS Build plan but we have not update on when this is going to happen.

I was on my way to create a thread for this exact request, Please Dev team modify the existing logging method so we can reuse old logged charts and not need to recreate every time we want to log a car.

This functionality is crucial for ease of use, not being able to plug in a set of parameters created offline and then connect up to the live data is mental. And having to recreate the chart each time just feels like your banging your head against a wall haha Being able to reuse a chart you've made in the past is the game changer on this, should have been functionality from the beginning |

Still no news after all these months? I'd like to use the app to monitor the parameters of my EV battery, but without being able to save the sets I create, it's just not worth the effort. Is it so hard to add that option? Right now, the dongle/app have barely no use to me.

Hmm ok so i came here to post exactly what been posted having to select channels every time you want to create charts is annoying even so when you cant select multiple or search for the item, so was happy to come across a post that details my bug bear but my smile was soon wiped away as i read through the post and learnt nothing has bee implamented since it was raised in 2019  any updates DEVs  ? !!!! |

I'm professional diagnostician for 15 years.For that period of time I have learned that one of most important features in professional diagnostic tool is good and adequate graphing live data feature (charts).Without that,tool isn't professional!!!
This way I'm sending request for improving charts feature.Many peoples already said what needs to be changed/improved so there isn't a need to repeat it again.
Please,consider my and many others requests about charts and OBDeleven will be one of the top professional diagnostic tools for VW group.

Ok this is very disappointing all the hype i heard about obdeleven is why i brought 1 but to learn basic options still havent been addressed is shocking, Devs or Admin any news on when these requested features will be added as its been a long time and i and many others would deem this an import request

Hi, also looking forward to a feature, where a fixed set of values can be shown on a dashboard. Would program it myself, but I guess thats not possible... This is now the second bluetooth dongle that doesn't do that... Please implement that feature, it was the main reason why I bought the device.
Just give me a textfile where I can enter the measuring blocks I want to see. I don't want anything fancy, just a plain list with live values
I guess the easiest and fastest way to implement that, would be to make the gauges list customizable.

and now they have the cheak of putting pro licence as a yearly payment i will be advising people against buying odbeleven from now on as its clear the owner / devs dont care and only care about money very sad |

Hello, where can be that problem to write us (users how payed for OBDeleven) when we can get proper charts functions for iOS? On android it is also no win because you can not save own group of values and there is also no chance to search the values via keyboard.
