Hola, mi carro solo tiene espacio para instalar las luces sin cables. Me gustaría poner las luces. Someone knows where the cables are connected. Saludos.

^^^^^ Wiring is very simple - footwell fittings (left-side and right-side) are wired in parallel with the voltage supply provided by pin #72 on Socket C of the module that OBD11 calls Central electrics (@ address hex09). Before starting the project, I suggest that you first confirm that the pin is physically present on the control moule - if the pin is missing, you might want to re-think whether to proceed Don

Hi, can you tell me where the C connector is?
In the picture I can not see where pin 72 is. Pin 73 if I see it.
thank you

First question: The socket labels are embossed onto the case of the module - but here's a pic showing the disposition of sockets on a standard BCM:
Second question: Look at my picture and note the numbers pointing to the leftmost column of pins. Notice that 63 points to the top pin and 73 points to the bottom most pin. So, the pin numbers count-up from each successively lower pin in my picture. Some pins are missing, but 72 is the first pin above pin 73. When you remove the C socket plug, you will also see the pin numbers embossed on the module housing (at the bottom of each socket recess (next to where the pin extends through the module case).

^^^^ hmm.........are you using the "thirteen question method" (it's an early blues/roots song)? The answer is - it depends
I understand that many countries have their steering wheels installed on the wrong side of the car (being of course - not on the right-side).Where is yours?

Hello, I'm sorry, I do not understand you as much as you.
I think it's good to teach people who do not know.
The steering wheel is on the left.
Thanks for your help

^^^ OK. Notwithstanding that your "teaching" philosophy is a tad self-serving, I happen to think that it's good too. So, I'll teach away!!! Don Just a thought of caution: I'm not sure how VW "standardizes" it's cars in Spain - so I don't know if footwell lights in that country are SWAP (Software-As-Product, which requires an activation code from the dealer). If it is SWAP, installing the hardware and activating the coding will not work (because the module firmware doesn't support the function). I would try turning-on the function in coding first and testing if the pin is energized - before the hassle of installing the actual lights. There's lots of ways of doing this Don

Hello do you have the coding to activate the foot lighting ? it really depends on the version number of the Central electrics module @ address hex09. I don't have a list of every SW version number in every country to tell you exactly what coding to use. Does your version of the hex09 module have a long code that is NOT a zero-string?
