I made a mistake my first time long coding and removed 47,52,55,46,5F,16,36,15,4F,17,4c,53,62,42,56. she went into safe mode and I need a code to enter long code to restore these. when I try with code it shows, it says. 22 function canceled marginal conditions have not been met. I have no radio, tach or fuel gauge. displays safe

You activated the component protection, you have to go to dealer or someone that has the tool avdi.

Thankyou adiwob, I did go to the stealership, and with a strait face they said 3 hours labor. $500 I declined. I will call a local shop tomorrow and see if they have an advi. What is a advi?

AVDI is a tool that can remove component protection for audi. It's not the only one you can ask any locksmith for cars if they can remove component protection with any other tool or someone that has ODIS online.

I am in Kansas City,USA. not having any luck with the small audi service shops or locksmith's,no AVDI. There are 2 Audi dealerships in town.Probably pointless to try the other dealership but I will call and try and get a quote out of the other one before driving in. |
