Hi. I am currently trying to change my comfort single from 3 to 5 flashes on my 2006 A6. When I go into central electrics channel 43 and login using code 12151 I recieve a message saying 'request out of range' any ideas why this is and how to resolve this problem?

This correct. Not all comfort modules support the change. My 2008 MK5 golf can't be changed from the default 3 flashes, but the newer 2010+ MK6 Golf can change from 3 to 5 flashes. The limitation is in the hardware of your car itself, not OBDeleven. You will even get this error if you used VCDS /VAG-COM
