All connected fine to my FL 2016 Touareg HOWEVER it cannot see Module 56 - Radio!
I was looking at changing some of the coding relating to my radio but OBDEleven cannot see module 56!?
Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem, I tried activing the radio control module... However it was just black and could not communicate! So dont know what to do!

Hi folks, the same problem. According to information in the Internet it is possible to change sound profile in 56 Radio block, but this block isn't visible. I only have 5F multimedia block. I've chatted with OBD eleven support team, but they still think that it should be 56 radio module or 5F multimedia module. In other words it shouldn't be both of them available for coding. I don't believe this, because instruction for VCDS has coding instructions for both 56 block and 5F block. Is it a bug?
Did someone successfully code 56 radio block with OBD Eleven? Maybe before?

First, the gateway doesn't have to be configured manually.
On my 15 Touareg, the module 56 requires the radio to boot first by going in accessories mode. Once the rns850 is fully operational, you push the start/stop button to turn off the ignition, then reload the module list from the app. At that point, module 56 should be available and green.
I strongly advise you to enable the Dynaudio profile, there is a HUGE difference with the default setting. The bass in incredibly louder and un-muffled and the highs are sharper and clearer. Don't expect the setting to work immediately, some have reported 10-15 minutes before hearing the difference.

Having the same problem connecting to Radio module. Have tried various combinations of radio on, ignition on/off, dongle plugged in after ign on, and refreshing control modules with no success.

The very same frustrating issue here. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the Radio 56 control module to go from black to green. I have discovered that too much playing around and propagating and de-propagating your module list can cause a conflict that makes your left speakers drop out and your radio to go in and out like a relay is switching. You have to go back to the original list of control modules ( the ones that have anything to do with media), clear all faults, turn off ignition, remove fob, then restart car.....the weird problem resolves.
I have a Touareg 2012 Tdi Lux edition. The year and addition may be significant. A fellow with a 2015 says he got the OBDEleven to register 56 Radio. He didn't say what model.

It seems that Obdeleven has made a fix for this issue.
I was with same problem, but from last week we can use this Module without problems.

Can I change sound profile via OBDeleven ?
I have Touareg 2017 with basic audio hardware and searched that it's profile can be changed to Dynaudio profile to sound better.
Is it possible with this app ?
