So go to google and type XOR calculator, type in your code that obdeleven says in the first box, type in c9d2 (this was found by somebody and it’s what vw use to generate the code, it doesn’t change) then press “calculate XOR “ this will give you the code to put into obdeleven to clear the error, I don’t know what else you need to know 🤷♂️

Thank you dv52 ☺, that works but can you please tell me step by step how you got the new code capri:It ain't rocket science - I detailed the way that the calculation is done here.
If you are not into hexadecimal/binary maths- then simply find an XOR (eXclusive OR) calculator on the web and input your hex code as one of the numbers and the decryption key C9D2 as the second number. Then run the calculator and you should get my answer.

Guys i have the same issue but when i checked the adaptation (confirmation of installation change) all i got is (f55) not a 4 digit code .. what am i doing wrong ? This is the code i got when i follwed the steps (ag least i think i followed the steps  |

Yes buddy it worked ...i also tried it via the xor calculator .. and gave me same number as you did .. thanks a lot .. and i apologuae for sendign 2 pics at once (first one was bad quality) i seem to have upset one of the rules ..

I couldn't find such a menu. When I go to multimedia- adaptadion : it ask me to select channel. Under 015 I found Value 1 has 2 different number. I don't know how can I share screen shot

stranger : What type of car is this? I very much doubt that it's a MQB platform vehicle (i.e. a Golf mk7) because your reference to "015" suggests that the car uses the older style non-UDS module. If this is the case, then the 5 x digit number is the correct number to use - but you can't use the im-so-xory application because this facility will only work for UDS modules
So - the answer for your case is 28786 - you need to change 47520 to 28786

I tried 28786. It tells me:
(22) Function cancelled, marginal conditions have not been meet.

stranger : hmm......... well exactly the same process works on the A4, B8 below (albeit it's a MY13) - the posts are from the previous page of this thread! Of course paul 's MMI had a different value for his car - but if I put 26349 through the same decryption method as I used for your 47520, I get vwjap answer. So it should work on your car too! Don
