My ECU is showing some faults, but it doesn't show more info like kms, date or frequency counter for those faults. The other control units show this. I am clicking on the faults and waiting but the loading bar appears and disappears but nothing more is displayed. Is it not possible to show this?

Probably not all faults have extended information. It depends on you car and ECU i guess.

I have had these errors for a couple of months, I think I remember being able to see the extended info... Maybe an update introduced a bug? I have found a post on a different forum with the same engine and ECU (different brand/car), he has the same fault and same control unit part number. He can see the extended info with VCDS. This is his post:

The OBDeleven freeze frame contains less information than the one you posted above(on my car). I think it only was: Fault Priority: 2 Fault Frequency: 1 Mileage: 131397 km Date: 2019.01.30 Time: 07:35:40
I don't know what exactly is going wrong there.

Does OBDeleven access the faults in a different way compared to VCDS? Why wouldn't it be able to access freeze frame data?

Yeah, just bought it. Not sure I am using it right but I also get very simple info... (time, date...). No detailed freeze frame info.
