Hello, I recently made some minor changes using the apps feature. It all worked fine, but in my vehicle history it shows three long code changes that I never made. Are these long code changes possibly related to the changes made to various modules by the apps?

Could very well be, all the app does is automate the change for you, in the history section you will see a change for the APP and a change for the Long Coding, but they do not pick up any Adaptition changes other than comparing pre and post backup files.
Hope that helps.

That’s what I was thinking too. I’ve coded other vehicles in the past and have noticed that certain changes requires two different modules to be coded. Appreciate the quick response.

Hi. i'm after some really basic help, bit thick with all this coding which is why I bought OBD (looked so simple). I programmed highway lights on my car yesterday and tested them driving home last night in the dark, didn't seem to work. I haven't upgraded to the pro version (not sure if you need to, to make the app work?) but it did say success at the end of it. in my statistics is says apps activated 1, programming completed 0. is there a correct way of removing the device i.e. disconnect from APP turn off ignition then remove etc or do you need to leave it in all the time for the programming to work?
thanks in advance

You don't need to PRO version to use the one click apps. However some OCA are not working with all cars. Doesn't matter if they're displayed or not. With PRO you are able to code all ECUs manually which means you'll have more opportunities.
