Hi,
Recently used the backup function on my engine control module.. It was about 3pm that day, Which shows up on my history.
About an hour after that (according to my history), my airbag module was recoded to a different number, which I did not do..
What's even weirder, according to my history, the air bag module reverted to the original coding 9.30am the following day.
Doesn't end there... After the backup completed my abs started flashing at me, my speedo died and my fuel gauage was fluctuating dramatically.
After turning off the car, the ABS pump stays on..
Can someone please clarify what processes the backup function entails?
Why is it coding other modules (airbags)?
How did it revert to the original coding the following day?
and what the hell has it done to my ABS?
Thanks

Contact support via the app directly.
My understanding (and backed up by usage) is that all the backup does is copy your settings to the OBD11 Servers so you can email them and compare against current setup. I have not heard of this process doing anything other than that.
Support is best place for that issue in my opinion

I would suggest using the backup function of your OS. It would be better to download the additional recovery software if you got Linux. Also, for the future, I don't recommend using any external sources to update your hard drive software because this kind of software is usually not compatible with all listed devices and can cause similar issues as you have right now with your server. I suggest you use the raid recovery service and backup your system to a stable version.
