Hi,
Volkswagen Golf 7 FL Variant, Highline. I tried the automatic Coming home function, but it doesn't work. When I change the option to Automatic and I open the door, the lights don't turn on. When I change the option to Manual and I use the beam (I don't know the real word in English) and I open the door, the coming home will be turned on. I changed an other option, from beam to fog and that function works perfectly. But automatic doesn't work. Anyone a clue?

It should be only that one known Adaption manual to automatic (Lightswitch set to Auto). There is also a setting which controls in Coming Home starts with Ignition off or Driver door opening. I prefer Ignition off, as then the Xenon-HID does not turn off and on again

Hi Newty. It already works. But I did not have patience. :-) Problem is that the coming-home function used another threshold for the lights then the normal lights (driving). Because: I tested in the early evening and the lights did go on on contact. So you would expect the cominghome function will go automatically on when you push the drivers door open. But that didn't work. When I changed the setting back to manual, it did work.
Last weekend, it was midnight when I got home and the cominghome did automatically go on. So the problem is solved. Thank you!

Hello I have Vw golf 7.5 gtd led lights with no sensors. Is it possible to activate Leaving home and Coming home (LH and CH) to my car with coding. Kind regards

@jessy: Hi. "without sensors"? I assume by these words that you mean that your car doesn't have a light sensor - which is normally attached to the windshield. If I'm correct, it should be possible to code CH - but this function will work in manual mode only. However, LH is not possible (because this function needs the light-sensor) However, there is a form of CH/LH that's possible via coding using the car's cabin lighting function. But, please understand that this method is a mimic for CH/LH - it's not exactly the same (i.e you can't alter the switch-ON period)
If you are interested in either of these options - read my instructions HERE
