I have had the pro version for over 2 years and its worked very well. I updated to software version 0.9.4 the other day and now when i try to connect to the dongle via the software it says " device not authorised " Any idea whats gone wrong ? Thanks.

Its broken, contact support via the in app help function and tell them you have device not authorised they will tell you what to do to fix it.
But they dont work weekends as far as I know so you will have to wait till monday I am afraid.

I just used it 2 days ago, and now it says it's not authorized? I get 1 day off a week and have to deal with this!! Please help!!

To be clear this is a user forum (eg users helping users) as there seems to be a lot of people having issues I suspect that there is a problem with OBD11 Servers but in any event please raise this via the APP Help function that way the support guys will get to see the issue sooner

It is not faulty device. They do it intendently. They block device after warranty period by app update forcing you to buy new one. After recent update my OBDEleven Device stopped working. There was notification that device is not original or authorized. I have proof that it is original so I wrote to developer about it but he says that I have no longer warranty and I should buy new device. He also refused to share previous version of app to check if it is device issue or app update issue. Forcing clients to buy new device by app update is fraudulent practice. There wasn't any information that after warranty period you have to buy new device if you want still use it. If your device stopped working after app update you probably were scammed. all I will say is if what you say were true then how come I have been upgrading on two dongles since 0.9.2 and it all still works with no issues.
I am very sorry for you but your dongle has broken and its out of warranty.
Just like any other device you can buy once its out of warranty your cost to fix.
You still have your account and pro license, you can buy a new dongle or a second hand one on Ebay.
And if you have the Cracked version of the software (and not saying you did) then afraid that is the cost of that short cut.
