Does this coding also warn if over speed and do anything else besides displaying the speed limit on the dash?
I have a 2020 Golf R (Final Edition - Australian model) standard fitted with a Discovery Pro Navigation/multimedia unit)
The vehicle has DCC with camera and I found the below code which worked on my vehicle..
I have seen some vehicles (Audi) which also have a warning if you exceed the speed limit show through the speed sign display and you can also set to 5,10, etc over before it warns you.
Anyhow the code I used is posted below and as you can see there are some things which are different in particular some changes you show are not in the soding I have.
I am aware each make, model and even 'software version are different.
e.g. Under F5 you have and extra point 5, extra point 8 (and checked my setting - on databus extended your - data bus comfort ?),
Under A5 you also have 8, 9,
Anyhow mind works on my car just seeing if there are setting to allow speed over limit warnings?
Enable Dynamic Road Sign Display
Go into Module 5F MultiMedia
Select Adaptations, then Car_Functions_List_BAP_Gen2
Select traffic_sign_recognition_0x21, and set to Activated
Select Adaptions, Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu
Select menu_display_road_sign_identification, set to Enabled
Select Coding, and then select Byte 24, activate Bit 6 – (already ticked in long coding)
Go into Module A5 - Front Sensor Driver Assistance
Select Coding, and then select Byte 16, activate Bit 4 (‘Traffic Sign Recognition VZE’ ->Coded)
Go into Module 17 Dash Board
Select Coding, then Byte 5, active bit 2 (‘Traffic Sign Recognition Installed’ -> Activated)
Go back into Module A5 - Front Sensor Driver Assistance
Select Adaptations, then Road sign detection fusion mode, and change to Road Sign Detection. The original is Road Sign Fusion
Enter Code 20103 to save the change
Reboot the infotainment unit
Note after each change with ODBeleven you need to press the green tick to save each change. One of the better changes I have made apart from turning on traffic information. Final note getting the all touch screen to reboot is a interesting as it keeps turning off, but continue to hold firm and you will see a slight flash of the menu and then after a few seconds the GTi screen will load.
