Hello
I want to code VIdeo in Motion for Audi A6 2015 facelift with MIB2.
Developer said that:
This app is not working on models which have MIB unit with software version 1116 and newer.
The version can be checked by going to Multimedia (5F) > Info > Software number
OBDEleven app shows in Central Electics / Software version: 0311 . So 0311 is lower than 1116 and I think coding for video in motion should work but it gives me an message like Function Not posible or something similar ...
Does anybody succeded in coding (using apps with 100 credits, of course) Video in Motion for MIB2 ?

I have a6 2016 facelift (c7.5) and successufully activated vim mib2 on it. Used apps in obdeleven (100 credits).

I have A6 C7 4G 2017. I also sucessfully activated VIM on MIB2 with this application.

activation for any model 2016 2017 2018 but which version I want to know this as well. I have a 2016 A6 and have not found the VIM in the APP section. Hope I didn't buy this thing for nothing as that was my main reason besides ability to check codes. |

Interesting, I have the c7 A6 4G and obdeleven is saying that this is not supported. I confirmed that I could watch dvd's in my vehicle.
My software version is MHI@_US_AU57x_P3237, 2017 A6 P+

Strange.
I activated VIM with old OBDEleven dongle without problem on Audi A6 C7 4G FL 2017.
Tested on latest MIB2 firmwares. (MHI2_ER_AU57x_K3663 and MHI2_ER_AU57x_P3634)

I am having the same problem with my 2017 A7 with system description: MU-H-LNS-US, Software Version 0671. System: mhi2_us_au57x_p3237.
Has anyone found a way around this?
I'm having a hard time identifying which MMI system it is (ie 3G, 2G, etc if that matters). Anyone know where to find this?
Under Multimedia 5f -- Info -- Software Version sas 0671 and says New Version Exists (0814). Should this be updated?

Sorry but I am new here, has anyone tried video activation on RMC? In Audi A6 4g 2018?
Or is there another forum?
I activated this option using the app but video doesn’t play, only sound (after correctly to format)

For those who successfully activated VIM. I have not bought the dongle yet but as I look on the app, it shows A6 2015.. then jumps to 2018. I have a 2016 A6 so if I took the leap with this, which year do I use to successfully turn on this feature - VIM?
