I’ve got a 2023 mk8 Golf, I’ve purchased a full genuine retrofit kit and installed it (very difficult job…) However I can’t code it. I went into auto hvac, enabled heated front seats so it shows up on the display but they don’t heat up. I’m guessing there’s other coding required?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Solved!
Overall, this was an easy retrofit, everything is technically plug and play. No wiring diagram is needed as the kit comes with the plug needed to connect straight to the aircon control module, the downside to it is, it’s located up behind the dash, below the middle heater vents so is extremely awkward to get to (probably a dash out job!)
However once plugged in… run the power cable to the fuse box, run the wiring to the proper location under the seats, connect heat mats, programme, done!
Programming was simple overall but took a little getting used to. It’s all done under air conditioning, it needs to be enabled under coding and then about 30 adaptations need to be set. I used another persons back up and just copied over what was relevant, temp limits and set ups etc but overall wasn’t to bad.
Obviously much easier if you’ve bought seats with heating elements inside them already but I spent a few hours carefully removing the covers to fit my element.
