Hi gang,
Is anyone familiar with the following fault codes?
Gateway - U164300
Telematics - B200047
Whenever the ignition is on, the "SOS Error: Emergency Call" warning gets displayed, without failure. However, when I press the call button it will attempt to make a call (never let it run down the 10 seconds though).
The warning for the "Error: selector lever" and "Error: gearbox" are sporadic, and there is no strange sound/vibration from the gearbox and the car drives like normal.
I took it to the dealership today and they want to charge me around £3500 to replace the CU for both, which sounds like utter bo11ocks (unfortunately I'm 2 months out of warranty and now I've raised the issue, I doubt purchasing extended warranty and taking it in is going to fly...).
I'm don't speak "car" that much at all but I am a quick learner if given some direction so any help/advice would be appreciated! Happy to buy the PRO or ULTIMATE plans if something as simple as a reset or change of code is likely to fix the issue without having the CU replaced.
