Hello folks,
i've been a while doing some codign and adaptation and i tried to reenable the ACC in my mk8 GTE as i got the free month with VW and now they disabled it from my car, i've tried the long coding from the module 13 but even if it says it's enabled it's still not working neither showing me the info about it and i belive it's because the car might be getting info from VW that i haven't pay this feature and dissabling it.
Is there a way to reenable it with the coding and jumping VW's connection? or maybe do i need to modify more parts on the vehicle?
I think it's due to VW as the same happends to me with the dinamyc headlights, which is expected to be working but it's not. Any ideas? thanks in advantage.
update: I have my car in the "incognito" mode just to try to hide from VW but seems to be just blocking minor info from the we connect app
PS: yes, the car have both features with their respective hardware installed, it''s not a mod, everything stock and should work as it was working with the VW's trial.

Hello Alberto:
I believe that Adaptive Cruise Control is sold as "SoftWAre as a Product" (SwaP) by Volkswagen, and requires a Feature Enabling Code (FEC) to function.
This is why VW gave you a one month free trial, they wanted you to try it out, like it, and then go to your local dealer to buy it. The dealer would then collect some money from you, hook your car up to the VW diagnostic system, then download the FEC necessary to enable ACC.
There is no known way to work around this - you have to pay if you want the functionality.

Yup, it's something that i was thinking, but more likely to be everything online as i have the option to pay for it via the web and the car's screen and apply it
Thanks a lot, cheers

Exactly. Everything is prepared, but the FEC is missing - the ACC is not allowed to work.
What happens when buying or trying a feature from the shop? The OCU loads a code which describes what feature has been enabled into the Gateway. This code is signed by VW and - in case of a timed feature - has a end date.
The current date is fetched via GPS, so setting your cars clock does not help.
There is no way to circumvent that, as the signature cannot be forged
