Hello:

My vehicle is a 2024 Golf GTI, Canadian specification. Complete adaptation channel maps for my car can be viewed here: 2024 Golf GTI 'Performance' 2.0T DRNA.

I want to configure the car so that I do not get the warning chime when the driver door is opened with the engine running (Terminal 15 power present). I have seen posts elsewhere that state that this can be done via the following adaptation channel of controller 09:

Clamp_Control:

Ignition_Active_Message: No_display

The problem is that I have a different version of the controller than the version that the above adaptation change has been proven to work on. The above-listed selection "Ignition_Active_Message:" is not available on my vehicle.

I would like to make this coding/adaptation change manually, rather than using a script. This is not for monetary reasons (I have an Ultimate licence), it is because I want to maintain a complete historical list of revisions & changes I have made to my vehicle.

Can anyone tell me how to go about configuring my car so that I do not get a warning message when I open the door with ignition power on?

My Coding from My Formentor, check if it works

"Ignition on" beep warning off when door open & engine on (SFD)
- ECU 09 → "Ignition warning and drive active warning" adjustment (in German: Zündungswarnung und Antrieb-Aktiv-Warnung)
o Set value "Output MoLaWa_AAW" to "not active" (default: "active")

"Ignition on" Beep warning off if door is open & only ignition is on (SFD)
- ECU 09 → Adjustment "clamp_control"
o Set value "---" to "no display" (default: "driver's door")
