Can anyone help me with side assist/blind spot detection? It was work when i picked my r up, i was fiddling with the brightness on the wingmirrors, now its gone, no lights on wing mirrors even when resetting and hard resetting, i go to the assist menu and it says “funtion not available” vw hooked it up to there machine and have no idea

Could you provide us with a OBD scan where 3C is listed? Could be anything from a blown fuse (F21/F22, you should check that), to failure of the indicator lamps or LIN bus, and in worst case failure of the radar itself. Without a OBD scan we are flying blind. Changing brightness shouldn't make the system inpoperable. Did you retrofit something on the Driver assistance canbus lately?

The error is a generic general failure message. Try checking the connectors at the radar modules for proper seating and corrosion. Also see if the cable harness got damaged. You might try to renew the FW and datasets on the module as well... If that does nothing, you will most likely need to replace the radar master module. ADAS failure also triggers errors in other modules, ussually A5, 44, 19. Do you have errors there?

Nath 1991 : In addition to brkica advice, have a look at the records in History - which contains a comprehensive list of the coding changes that were made with OBD11 when you were "fiddling with the brightness on the wingmirror".
For each record in the History list - revert the setting back to old value and then try clearing the errors that appeared after the mods.

I installed side assist in aftermarket
Any help?
