Has anyone had this problem when doing dyno run with MK7.5 GTI? Me put the car on dyno, turned on the dyno mode, however the rmp never run higher than 3K on floor paddle, and I can't shift gear both auto or manual. Anyone know who to fix it? Or Can obdeleven turn off the abs /traction control? Also anyone know where is the traction control fuse on MK7.5 GTI?

lidaize : It really does depend on what version ABS module is installed in this car - not ALL "MK7.5 GTI" are built the same!! Anyhow - assuming that this car has a 3Q0/5Q0 series ABS module with a 30 x Byte long-code string (many do have these modules) - the software switches that control how the braking system is managed by the "nanny functions" are in Byte 29 and specifically in Bits 0-3. This is how the switches are allocated across the various brake functions: So - the simplest option for Byte 29 that meets your requirement is hex04 for the "lower-nibble" (i.e. for Bits 0-3). This setting should allow you to select ESC-ON, or ESC-OFF options via the MIB screen, or via the brake-function console button if it's fitted on this car

is there any way obdeleven can monitor if is esc and asr status? like after I get into dyno mode?

I don't have a mk7 Golf in the garage now - but you should get a warning message on the FIS screen warning the driver that ESC has been turned off -see video below

I have the same warning lights pop when in dyno mode, but just won't let me shift gear when spinning on dyno.

Electronic Stability Control is off on your screenshot - so clearly it's not ESC that's causing the problem!!
Try deactivating Starting vibration reduction in adaptation on the hex03 module (factory setting normally = strong)

I don't see starting vibration reduction in brake's adaptation page. did i go to the wrong page? below is my screenshot on obdeleven

hmm..... I'm surprised!! You have a mk7.5 - but this car appears to have an early version firmware in the Brake module (meaning a hex03 module that doesn't have the adaptation channel in my post)! OK - my only remaining suggestion is to try turning on Roller test bench mode on the car before running the Dyno test. I'm totally guessing here (repeat for emphasis "guessing") - but according to a post on ECUconnections.com - @hadid1998 says:
"I have [dyno] tested Many Polo GTI and Mqb up to 2020 models. Connect vcds, turn ignition on, don't start the car, go on to engine/ABS brakes/gearbox channels, adaptations and enable roller test bench mode on all of them. After doing this, disconnect VCDS, turn on car and now you can test It without Any problems"
So, if I look at the adaptation channel database on MQB vehicles and based on the words above - I find that the adaptation channel Roller test bench mode; functional (default setting = deactivated) appears in the following modules: - 01 Engine
- 02 Transmission
- 03 Brakes
- 08 Air Conditioning
- 09 Central Electrics
- 17 Dashboard
In addition, the Gateway module (@ address hex19) also contains the following channels that might be of interest for monitoring how the Roller test-bench mode is operating: - Roller test bench mode; functional-Activation stages
- Roller test bench mode; functional-Malfunction states
Maybe try activating the Roller test-bench function in the modules that I have highlighted in my list above within the ONE ignition-cycle (meaning DON'T turn-off the ignition after activating test-bench mode and before the Dyno run). Also, I suspect that the test-bench mode won't activate if there is an error registered in the module's fault memory (so clear fault codes beforehand)
And, the Brakes module has the additional channel Roller test bench mode - which I suspect MUST have the setting Manual activation; possible for the process to work (check this channel value).
Other points that might be useful: - in roller mode in the abs module - Esp turns off and it runs. But only in first gear.
- avoid holding rpm, go straight to the gear you want to do the run and then full throttle.
- ECU also has a roller mode adaptation but can't enable that. Attempted but it brings up a conditions not correct error. It might need a login
In respect of the last dot-point above, I assume that "login" actually means "security-code". AFAIK, the 3 x known security-codes for MQB engines are: I'm not sure if you are aware - but the modules in MQB platform cars are very unforgiving when it comes to entering security codes; they lock-out for a period of time after the 2nd/3rd incorrect attempt. You can check if the module has locked-out like this: My screenshot above is for the hex09 module- but every module has the same facility. If the number in the last picture is higher than 2/3, the module has locked-out and it WON'T accept any further entry attempts (not even a correct security-code)
The lock-out period varies (10-20 mins) and the timer count-down must see a terminal 15 voltage (meaning that the timer needs the ignition to be turned-ON). If lock-out happens, the number in the last picture must reset to zero before the module will allow access again
Finally - I assume/suspect that once the Roller test-bench mode is activated - it will ONLY remain activated under strict conditions (like the current ignition-cycle). So, I suggest that you routinely check the status of the adaptation channel to make sure that the Roller test-bench mode is still active.

I'm surprised too, my mk7.5 module looks even older than mk7(but I remember I saw the start vibration reductio before in my app). Is there anyway I can upgrade the firmware by myself or though obdeleven?
According to your last post, which means I only need to change these 4 channels than can run the dyno right? - 01 Engine - Roller test bench mode - activated - 02 Transmission - Roller test bench mode - activated - 03 Brakes - Roller test bench mode - manual activation, possible - 03 Brakes - Roller test bench mode, functional - activated
Do I need to set the ESC off permanently ? I'm currently at ASR off / ESC off v2
One last questions, about on dyno, should I spin the wheel -> shift gear OR shift gear -> spin the wheel ?
Im gonna tried another dyno test tomorrow, then share if its work.

Is there anyway I can upgrade the firmware by myself or though obdeleven? Alas OBD11 won't work to upgrade the software version number According to your last post, which means I only need to change these 4 channels than can run the dyno right? - 01 Engine - Roller test bench mode - activated - 02 Transmission - Roller test bench mode - activated - 03 Brakes - Roller test bench mode - manual activation, possible - 03 Brakes - Roller test bench mode, functional - activated
No- it's like this: - 01 Engine - Roller test bench mode, functional > activated - 02 Transmission - Roller test bench mode functional > activated - 03 Brakes - Roller test bench mode > manual activation, possible - 03 Brakes - Roller test bench mode, functional > activated Do I need to set the ESC off permanently ? I'm currently at ASR off / ESC off v2I suspect (remember that I'm guessing in my last post) that the Roller test-bed mode automatically turns ESC off One last questions, about on dyno, should I spin the wheel -> shift gear OR shift gear -> spin the wheel ? Don't know - try both (but regularly check the channel Roller test bench mode; functional-Malfunction states in the Gateway module for errors) Im gonna tried another dyno test tomorrow, then share if its work. good!!

Did this work?
I have the same issue. I also read that pulling the ABS fuse can work but not sure where that is

^^^^ hmm......... really? I'm very surprised!!
Normally removing a fuse on a central module like the Brake module will cause all sorts of bad stuff to happen - but I've never done this!!
Anyhow, the hex03 module on a MQB platform car has 3 x T30 voltage pins (#1, #30, #31 on the 46 x pin connector) and it has a T15 supply on pin #35.
I have no idea which of these supplies to try!
