The Easy Entry for Driver's Seat has been reported before, but there is an additional item that may be useful. My car is a 2019 7.5 R with the optional electric driver's seat with memory.
For Easy Entry you go to (36) Driver Seat, and Long Code "Easy_Entry_front" to active.
If this works OK, you can add, in the same section, "easy_entry_front_over_MMI" set to active.
This gives a new entry "Seats" in the Vehicle Settings screen and it contains "Access Aid" -> "Driver's Seat" check box.
So the easy option can be turned on or off as you wish. There was no resetting required to enable these.
There's another item "EasyEntry_Enable_Passenger_over_DriverMMI" but the cheapskates at VW only put a manual passenger seat in my car, so I have no idea what this item might achieve. If anyone has two electric front seats this may be of interest.

I fancy trying the dash ambient lighting colour mod, but before I screw anything up, can someone confirm if this only properly works with the Gen2 Discover Nav Pro (9.2") or will it also work with my "standard Discover Navigation (8") please (with the two rotary knobs) ?

I don’t think so, I know people who have done it on the mk7 (later version) but nobody has said there was problems, although there’s a guy with a 2018 saying he hasn’t got the colour button 🤷🏻♂️

Is the background lighting still in the menu? Or do you have to go to light?
I think I've fixed it. The adaptions that didn't take previously now suddenly seem to have?
I have got rid of the Background lighting menu and now have the individual sliders back under the Light menu.
Although I seem to have now gained a "Front background lighting" option?
These are my current adaption settings:
I have also made the addition for the background lighting dus there seems to be a problem with the sliders to change the intensity of the background light. I have made a short film to explain the problem

In adaptations module 09. Interior light, light configuration. Ambientemenue mit globalem aus in active...... off the button in background lighting to switch off door and footwell lighting.

Indeed, the OFF button is gone... But i mente the light intensity i can change that anymore.
Also with ambientemenue_mit_globalem_aus set to active or inactive doesn't change anything
Even with this button, when i untick it the background lighting doesn't shut off. The button does nothing

Not sure if it’s right without checking but you’ve got zonen set to not active, which i think is the chance by zones, have you tried setting that to active

In my adaption all off the zones are set to active. So i don't think that's the problem. As you can see the sliders are there but don't do anything

I meant this setting
Interior light, light configuration Ambientemenue mit alle Zonen:

Post by tomraemaekers on Jun 28, 2020 21:28:03 GMT
Yep that's active and also Ambientemenue_mit_globalem_aus > active Ambient_farblist_hmi > active
So i don't know witch adaption it will be witch changes the intensity. The sliders for intensity are there, and the intensity changes on infotainment but the interior light it self doesn't change

Hello people. The interior light on the door handle is not turning on. Does anyone know how to inform the settings to be made in obdeleven?

I need some assistance please. I change a few things to do with ambient light and now can’t get the original blue back. I’ve tried other things but how’s its defaulted to red and the ambient lighting option in the app now says ‘not supported’
Could someone help me please I just want the standard blue back now.

Hi Im looking to enable the instrument lighting and buttons on media/control units when the first switch is on (not the 2nd ignition switch) on my MK7.5.
I have been able to do this for my old mk7, but i cant recall the settings, beside Mk7.5 is not the same as mk7.
Thanks in advanced. Ak

Hello, I searched the forum but could not locate any answer on this. I imported a UK car to Cyprus and have to change the speedometer (round part - in red) from miles to kilometres. Emailed OBD Eleven but could not give an answer. Has anyone tried and managed to do the change? I don't want to buy the product for this and then prove it cannot be done. I don't think matters the car is MK7 facelift 2017 Golf R with digital dashboard. Thank you in advance,

Hi Guys I also did this mod on my Variant R-Line 2019 it works but when locking the car the Right outer taillight Stays on for about 5sec all by itself until turns of, Real strange is there anyone as know how to correct the issue so it turns of with the rest when locking? its this one as stay on about 5sec alone Leuchte24SL (Right outer tail light) Thankful for any help 😊 Hi guys, I have a 2019 Golf R variant (Australia). I'd like to do the following mods. I did find some coding instructions for these in the forum, but wasn't sure if they still apply for the 2019 model (variant) - Scandinavian DRLs (Rear) - Speed sign recognition I tried to enable the rear DRLs using the OBDeleven app, but it also turns on the number plate lights. Can I just turn on the rear lights only? What's the latest speed sign recognition coding for a 2019 model. Would this work? forum.obdeleven.com/thread/5839/activating-traffic-assist-sign-recognition Thanks in advance. Cheers, Kaz kaz I have never done the "Speed sign recognition" so can't help you with that, hopefully someone else can help you For the " Scandinavia DRLs" Go into Control module - Centrals electrics (09) -- Security access = 31347 -- Adaption--- Leuchte23SL (Left outer taillight) ---- Dimmwert GH 23 = 127---- Dimming Direction GH 23 = Maximize---- Lichtfunktion G 23----- Default Value: nicht aktiv ----- Change Value: Tagfahrlicht
Now do the same for the rest of the rear lights Leuchte17TFL (Left inner taillight) Leuchte16BLK (Right inner taillight) Leuchte24SL (Right outer taillight) Thanks Vic. That worked for the Scandinavian drls. Just need to sort out the speed sign recognition now 🙂

blackpearl : hmm........... no offense intended to viĆ but I would use the pre-progammed "Scandanavian DRL" function (with a twist) - like this: - Return the values in your post to factory settings
- Still in the central electrics module - stay in adaptation
- Search for Außenlicht_Front
- Select Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusaetzlich Standlicht
- Change to active
Then, if you don't want the number plate light to illuminate during daylight conditions - do this:
Leuchte25KZL HA59 Lichtfunktion C 25 > Tagfahrlicht (not active) Dimming Direction CD 25 > minimize (maximize)
The values in brackets MUST BE your current settings

blackpearl: I have no idea what "do the delay time instead" means. Please post-up a copy of full Leuchte24SL HRA65 = meaning all 19 x channels. And please explain again the problem using different words

I just unlocked 30 color ambient lights in a Arteon with the big ambient package and then the door panels change color aswell as the dashboard and infotainment, is that not possible on the golf R 2018? Is the golf hardware restricted with a blue LED in the door panel or is it possible to change the colors?
