Hi, I have a mk7.5 2019 golf alltrack. Two weeks ago the “front assist not available” warning popped up during very light snow and will not go back to normal after the car has been clean and dry. Code C110300 “misadjusted”. The car does not have ACC. Popped off the emblem and the sensor is clean and completely firm in place, it has never been in an accident. Can I avoid going to the dealer for this? I have seen some similar issues on the vcds forum, but I don’t have vcds, is there a way to accomplish this through obd11?

unstoned (why not?): Hi. As you will doubtless already know from reading the Ross-Tech forum, calibration of the front radar is only possible if the misalignment values are small. Personally, and since this is a safety issue, I don't consider this to be a DIY activity - but I acknowledge that this is entirely your decision. Anyhow, ain't nothing particularly special about VCDS when it comes to this procedure. The smarts are in the module- the diagnostic device (be it VCDS, or OBD11, or any other unit) simply initiates the software in the module. Same steps apply Don

Thanks for the reply, even looking at the threads on the rosstech forum, I’m still not actually sure what I’m doing on obd11 or otherwise and what steps to take. I have only used it for simple tweaks. I definitely do not want to mess anything up on the car, or make it worse. From what I gathered the “dynamic” settings/values are not as detrimental to change as opposed to the “static” calibrations.. is this right?

unstoned : Hmm...... I'm not sure that I understand the concept of comparative "detriment" when applied to the 2 x calibration categories for the front radar. As I have said, a proper operating front radar is a critical safety factor for the occupants in a car and the hex13 module needs both static and dynamic initialization values to be correctly set. Again, entirely your decision - and yes, you may well save a few dollars by completing the calibration procedure as DIY. However, there are far more important outcomes than having more dollars in your Bank account - no offense intended! Don

Do you know how I can recalibrate the dynamic settings (or whatever i need to do) via obd11 to get this thing to shut off?
