idk if this is the right place for this topic but forgive me if it is not ..
so i have a mk7 FL golf (2018) and it came with no footwell lights and i was checking on the internet the ability to install them (rgb ones not the single color)
and i found that it depends on the BCM , so i checked mine using obdeleven and found out this :
after some googling on my bcm i found that :
compatible with 10 colour:
- 5Q0937084CD
- 5Q0937084CE
- 5Q0937084CF
- 5Q0937084CG
- 5Q0937084CM
- 5Q0937084CN
- 5Q0937084CP
- 5Q0937084CQ
compatible with 30 colour:
- 5Q0937086BE
- 5Q0937086BF
- 5Q0937086BG
- 5Q0937086BH
- 5Q0937086BJ
- 5Q0937086BK
- 5Q0937086BL
- 5Q0937086BM
so i ordered this RGB lights from Aliexpress to test them :

but when they arrived and i tried to install i found that i don't have the plug c 29 pin which is for LIN
so does this mean that my bcm does not support rgb footwell lights or there is something i am missing ?
for example welding a pin on the 29 location (although i believe it's a stupid idea)?
also i found this decoder for the CAN bus which should replace the LIN pin :

will this decoder work for my case ?
