My rear Hatch won't open using the VW Emblem/Handle or Key Fob. I was able to test the latch mechanism in the 09 - Central Electronics module, which functions correctly, but I don't know how to test the handle?
Anyone know if this test can be done through OBD11?

I apologize if you already know this stuff, but here's the thing about how the rear hatch lid works on a mk7/mk7.5 - it's ALL managed by what OBD11 calls the central electrics module via a 2 x part process that functionally separates "output" and "input". By this, I mean that the module separates the "outlet" which is the actual lock mechanism and the "input" which is the manual switch that's located inside the VW emblem. This separation happens via different pins onto which the wires for these 2 x functions are terminated on the module
So, when you say "I was able to test the latch mechanism in the 09 - Central Electronics module" - you actually confirmed that the "output" part of the process was operating correctly (which was an excellent step in your diagnostics process). However, this test does NOT investigate if the "input" function is operating correctly
Here's how the "input" circuit for the hatch switch is wired on a RoW mk7.5
J519 is the central electrics module
THK is the coupling point on rear lid - I've not shown the pin numbers on THK because this varies according to the drive side
As you can see - it's a very simple circuit. For the "input" part of hatch unlocking, J519 senses when the voltage potential on pin#32 (socket A) falls to zero. When this happens - J519 activates the "output" function.
I'm guessing of course and anything is possible when attempting remote diagnostics on a forum - but likely fail-points could be wire continuity and/or the integrity of the terminations en-route to the module.

PS: I'm assuming in the above discussion that your problem is NOT coding related - did you make any coding changes (look at your History records)?

Good info! There's been no coding. I did know about the input/output and J519. So I tested the output from J519 to the Latch and confirmed that works. My guess is that the Live Data in 09 will show me if J519 sees the input from the handle being operated? But I don't know where in the 09 live data I would find this?? There is no visible wire damage without tearing apart the entire car so I'm hoping to test the input through OBD11. FYI, here's what it looks like with the Rear camera option:

dostin : hmm....... yes, I would expect the hatch-switch status to be reported in Live data.
I'm not sure which particular hex09 module is installed in your car - but my experience with these modules has been that the descriptors in Live data are a combination of English and German language. If you can't find any hits using the OBD11 search function in Live data with English - maybe try a translator and search for the German word?
