Hi,
Does anyone know the difference between the original and version 2 app in OBD eleven for start/stop deactivation?
I can see 2 versions and the latter just says try this one if v1 didn't cut it.
Which coding/method is behind each of them?

Could be 1 is temperature the other voltage?
I dont use apps so couldn’t tell you, plus I got a memory module from aliexpress for less than £10

Version 2 is definitely the voltage method. I've done this to my car through adaptation and set the value to 12 V. Opening the app while connected gave back 'original'. Curious as I am, I coded 12.1 V since voltage method is advertised using either of these. And hey presto: the app now showed S/S as 'OFF'.
V1 just showed unsupported for my '19 BlueMotion while connected, guess that's the temperature method then.

What is it ? and does it benefit?

A memory module fits behind the start stop button and what ever setting you left the car on at switch off it starts up on that,
