I just got my OBDeleven and started playing with it.
So far I Set the convenience blink to five using credits to check how they worked. 5 blinks feels so much better then three. I turned on instrument_celebration thru adaptation, Love seeing the needles sweep when I start the engine, My wife does not get it and comments that its pointless. And I used long coding to enable windows up and down from the key fob, A much needed feature that should have been enabled from the start in my opinion, also the only thing of the three that scared me a little to do.
So what else can we do?
I have an SE and the installed options were limited. What can be retrofitted? I've been debating swaping the radio for a NAVunit and adding a backup camera, or replacing the head unit with an android head unit.
Can we code Keys? I need to get a couple extras and dealers are expensive.

Thanks, I knew about the free credits. During the few days waiting for shipping I made sure to open the app and collect them. My car is a 2015 Jetta SE. So far I have enabled and tested, Five blink convenience blinker Remote window function the instrument cluster Staging and the teardrop wipe.
I also long coded coming home light enable and it was accepted no fault codes but I don't know how to test it for functionality.
Unfortunately The device quit working shortly after coding the tear drop wipe and coming home light. The connection dropped and the app started saying Device not responding. The red light is still on but the amber is not. And it shows up in bluetooth scans as "misc" instead of "OBDeleven".

Bad news I am afraid. Device not responding means the dongle is broken check out this link for details and what to do obdeleven.proboards.com/post/6909With regards to coming home lights drive your car in the dark and park it, turn the engine off and remove keys but your lights will stay on for the period set (I think default is 30 seconds)

Got my replacement today so I'm back at it. Just turned on the factory alarm. 09 Central electronics---> Byte 6---> checked bit 2 and bit 6. Applied. Bits 0, 1, and 3 were already checked. Tested working. No vibration sensors but the horn and lights go crazy if you open the door after locking with the remote.

Don’t you have to flash the lights before you open the door, (unless you set it to automatic)

Don’t you have to flash the lights before you open the door, (unless you set it to automatic) I was curious as to how to program it to do it automatically. 1) Go to Central Electrics 2) Security - enter code 31347 3) Go to Adaptation 4) Select Comfort Illumination 5) Change coming home verbaustatus from manual to automatic 6) Click the green tick to confirm But you have to have the light switch in auto with both options (manual and auto) Or if you have the new module it could be Aussenlicht_uebergreifend: Coming Home Verbaustatus: Manual to auto Not done myself though
