Well you have got this in 5f infotainment (this is of course if you have mib2 and not 1) Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2:
menu_display_clima_configuration: activated menu_display_clima_configuration_clamp_15_off: Not activated menu_display_clima_configuration_over_threshold_high: activated menu_display_clima_configuration_standstill: Not activated menu_display_clima_configuration_after_disclaimer: Not activated
And
Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2: climatic_master_0x01: activated climatic_master_0x01_msg_bus: Comfort data bus climatic_slave_0x02: Not activated climatic_slave_0x02_msg_bus: Comfort data bus
And maybe something in the 08 air con module And maybe something in the gateway

by the way my email is shpetim_d99@outlook.com ^^^ sepi: bummer - but try not to despair. Let's first see if we can't figure out what settings were changed to cause the problems - then we can revert these back to factory settings.
Not sure if you are aware, but OD11 keeps a record of ALL the changes that you make - for this exact purpose, To access these records follow the instructions below:
My apology for using the old OBD11 software pictures, but it's exactly the same with the current SW.
In the last picture email yourself a copy of the history file. Once received, copy and paste the latest records here for us to see what has happened - please
Don

Helloo i had trouble to send Email to my self i guess was a long list was failed but i menaged to save in my phone then i will add as Attachment this you can start checking from down list is big i took of full scans and fault codes i guess you don't need that but i let all other stuff like basic settings backup and all coding i hope man you will figure out to help me let me know if you menaged to open my history file ^^^^^ hmm............. the changes that you have made to long code (in hex08 and hex17 modules) appear to have been correctly reversed. As far as I can tell from the myriad of other entries in your history report (you certainly have been a busy boy with your OBD11 dongle), the real problem is that you have repeatedly clicked on Resetting of all adaptation values on the hexA5, hex55 and hex13 modules.
In general and except only in very special circumstances - NEVER, EVER click on Resetting of all adaptation value. The name of this option is misleading and many OBD11 users believe that it is a quick way of resetting channel values back to those that applied when the car was built at the factory - THIS IS WRONG!
From my experience, and to the chagrin of many, it seems that Resetting of all adaptation values has the result of taking these channel values back to when the module was taken from the factory warehouse. So if you click on this option, you will lose ALL of the the car's individual calibration values (i.e. the basic setting values that are unique to the vehicle?). Hence the myriad of basic setting errors in your history report.
Some of these calibration functions (like those for the driver assist system in hexA5) need special equipment - hence the error "Search calibration target" error.
Sorry that I haven't been able to help - but I have asked the folk @ OBD11 headquarters many times to include a warning in their software anytime that a user clicks on the Resetting of all adaptation value option (because of the catastrophic ramifications of doing so). Please note that Resetting of all adaptation value is an option that the module provides - it's not an option that the OBD11 software makes available to the user.
I suggest that you keep your planned appointment on Tuesday with the dealer - and use this experience as a valuable learning exercise
Don

I havent rear the whole thread but i did read somewhere that for quite a bit of money the dealer can get your cars original settings and flash it back to normal From what I remember it said they have to do it one module at a time so wont be cheap. I cant remember where I read it and I could be wrong but as a last resort its worth a try.

Maybe it is here but i did not see it. Is there a manual for coding number plate light? Going from a halogen setup to a original led setup. Or do i need the adapter harness? And is it possible to dim the light?

Hi Andreash
I don't know if I understood your question well.
After changing the license plate lights to Led, you have an application to code it.
Greetings. Thank you😊 That was what i was wondering yes. I also wonder if there is a way to dim the brightness of the led? So that it's not so bright?

I also wonder if there is a way to dim the brightness of the led? So that it's not so bright? ^^^ Try this.
- Go to the Central Electrics module @ address hex09
- Go to Security access
- Enter the magic number 31347
- Go to Adaptation
- Search for Leuchte25KZL HA59
- Select Dimmwert AB 25 and reduce the value to the desired illumination level. Note: if you have applied the LED App, the default setting for this channel will be 127 - if you haven't applied the LED App, the default value will be 100 (for an incandescent lamp)- both give full illumination for their respective lamp types.
- Confirm the change by selecting the tick symbol

hope you can help calibrate.
removing the from nar to ece, naturally i removes the error message by doing the basic setting and acknowledging it
my afs are not working properly. my left (drivers side) light turn outward at low speed, like 45* out but will straighten at high speed (50 mph). i had to turn it off in the BAP.
I wanted to remove the restriction so the dynamic lights work with fog lights. How can i reset and recalibrate. light look level and straight when afs is turn off.
PS,
Also wish i knew how to program the auto not to turn on the headlights if the fog lights are "pulled". its it hard to ask for AUTO to be AUTO
thank you,

PS, Also wish i knew how to program the auto not to turn on the headlights if the fog lights are "pulled". its it hard to ask for AUTO to be AUTO thank you, ^^^ subiewam: Hi. I'm confused! I think that you are saying that you have removed the NAR restriction (by using the ece setting) and you want to clear the basic setting error. If so, try this:
You will need to run 2 x separate procedures in the hex55 module like this: Make sure the car is on level ground and that the suspension is settled
Procedure 1
- Select Xenon range control module @ address hex55
- Select Basic Settings
- Select Basic headlamp setting and start the procedure
- This is where you would adjust the headlights using their manual adjusting screws as referenced against a suitable aiming target - but in your case go to the next step
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
Procedure 2 (still in Basic settings in hex55 module)
- Select Acknowledge basic setting and start the procedure
- The reference settings from Procedure 1 above should now be "recorded" in the module
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
- Back-out of the module, clear any error codes and exit OBD11 software (don't forget to disconnect the OBD11 dongle)
Sometimes - just doing Procedure 2 is sufficient. But I suggest that you do the reset properly by completing both procedures
Now - for your "PS" question: To enable the fog lights using the rotary light switch (it's called LDS in the VW literature) you must not have the switch in the 0 position. If you have the LDS in the AUTO position, you can pull-out the the center switch in the LDS - but the fogs-lights will only work if it's NOT daylight (of course the headlights also won't turn-on in daylight as well).
If you want to turn-off the headlights when you pull-out the center switch on the LDS, then try my suggestion below - but be aware that it's not possible to restrict the new function only if the LDS is in the AUTO position : if you implement my tweak - the headlights will be switched-off when you turn-on the fog lights - IN ALL LDS POSTIONS .
Leuchte6ABL LC5(left headlight)
-Lichtfunktion C 6 > Nebellicht links
Leuchte7ABL RB1 (right headlight)
Lichtfunktion C 7 > Nebellicht rechts

PS: ...and I'm not sure what you mean by "my afs are not working properly. my left (drivers side) light turn outward at low speed, like 45* out but will straighten at high speed (50 mph). i had to turn it off in the BAP" - but whatever changes you made to the AFS settings, return then to their original values.
EDIT: I have just noticed that you have posted a similar question on the mk7.5 forum. I'm now not sure what type of vehicle this is - but if your car has LCMs (Light Control Modules), my tweak suggestion won't work

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find the exact answer.. What is the proper coding for unlocking the various MIB2 settings menus while moving (2017 GTI SE)?
Is it 'unblocking' these?

Yep, but I think the list is longer than that

That's annoying. Is there a quick app to do them all at once? If so, what's it called?

I thought I saw this somewhere, but can't seem to find it now.
2017 Mk7 US-spec R
Want to know if the DRL U's can be coded to be the same intensity..? As it is now, the outer part on each side is brighter than the rest of the "U".
TIA

Ok a little about my case. I’m a US Mil. vet. living in Norway. LoL I own a Scandinavian 2016 VW golf 7 GTE hybrid that came with the standard LED package taillights. I went ahead and switched the taillights to the newer NON-dynamic 2018 taillights as well as the tailight 8pin connectors and rewired them using OEM Norwegian VW dealer wiring Pinout diagrams. (Confusing) Just got an OBD eleven and tried a couple of variations settings from the web, but I want to start all over again & wanted to code them to regular stock OEM EU settings or standard settings for the 2018 “newer” non-dynamic tailights using adaptations. Can any one guide me with some coding diagrams as well as the English language ,EU OEM standard tailight 8pin-out description? I’m a little late to the game so I want to start from the beginning. In order to do a reset of the tailights, do I use “soft-reset”? Hard-reset? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Erick picture uploaderupload pics

Ok, well there is a lot of different codings from the factory. Anyhoos if you go into central electronics list (where it says adaptions, long coding) then you will see one that says history, go into that and you can see all the parameters you have changed, you can either email it to yourself (button top right of screen) or work your way back and undo everything you’ve done

In order to do a reset of the tailights, do I use “soft-reset”? Hard-reset? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Erick Erick: Hi. Don't "reset" anything!! - what you need to do is to grab hold of an official wiring diagram that tells you which of the 8 x pins to each lamp in the tail light fittings is connected to which number pins and which sockets (there are 3 x sockets) are connected to the module that OBD11 calls Central electrics. The wiring diagrams are called "Basic Equipment" and the section relating to the rear tails should look something like this: Of course my picture is for the 4/5 x pin version tails (not your 8 x pin connector version) - but it shows how the left side tails are connected to "J519" (which is the Central electrics module in OBD11 speak). The thing to note is the numbers on the connectors on J519. For example, the M21 LED is connected to T73a /71 in my picture - which means that the Brake light is connected to pin #71 on socket A of a connector with a total of 73 x pins on J519 (Central electrics module).
The reason why this is important is that there are a group of 19 x adaption channels in the Central Electrics module (I call them a Leuchte-set) that controls the way that each of the external lamps on a mk7 operate. To identify which Leuchte-set controls which lamp, the pin number and socket number is used. In my example, the Leuchte-set for the left Brake light is Leuchte20BR LA71. Note the part that I have highlighted in blue in the Leuchte-set name: A means "socket A", 71 means "pin #71".
In the Central electrics module on your car, you will have a group of 19 x adaptation channels like this:
Leuchte20BR LA71-Lasttyp 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lampendefektbitposition 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Fehlerort mittleres Byte DTC-DFCC 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion A 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion B 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimmwert AB 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtansteuerung HD AB 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion C 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion D 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimmwert CD 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimming Direction CD 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion E 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion F 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimmwert EF 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimming Direction EF 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion G 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Lichtfunktion H 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimmwert GH 20 Leuchte20BR LA71-Dimming Direction GH 20
The settings for these 19 x adaptation channels can be programmed to alter the way that the left Brake light works (I call it "Leuchte-programming").
You then need to repeat the exercise above for the other lamps in your tail lights that you want to change. It's that easy!!
So definitely don't reset anything- please

Thanks for the quick response- so where do I input this info? Adaptations menu? Also, what about all the coding I implemented in adaptations in the past? I'm new to OBD software so don't know where to make the changes. I have the vw dealer pinouts (in norwegian) so I can re-check my work.

Thanks for the quick response- so where do I input this info? Adaptations menu? Erik: Yes, I suspect that the changes that you will need to make (bearing in mind that I don't know what changes that you need to make because I'm not familiar with your 8 x pin tail fittings) will need to happen in "adaptations menu" (as you say) in the Central electrics module. But I suggest that you move cautiously if you are as new to OBDeleven - as you say. Just as an initial introduction to Leuchte-programming: Try this: - Go to the Central electrics module
- Select Adaptation
- In the search box type "Leuchte"
- You will be presented with the complete list of Leuchte-sets in the module - select Leuchte20BR LA71
- DON'T MAKE ANY CHANGES - but compare the channel names with the list that I provided earlier (and note the settings for each adaptation channel)
- Exit OBDeleven
Also, what about all the coding I implemented in adaptations in the past? I'm new to OBD software so don't know where to make the changes. I have the vw dealer pinouts (in norwegian) so I can re-check my work. Erik: I don't know what changes you "implemented in adaptations in the past" - but those changes that don't relate to the specific Leuchte-sets for the rear tails just remain. For the settings (it's better not to call these "coding" because there is a separate branch of software switches in OBD modules called "Long-coding" and it can be confusing) in the tail light fitting Leuchte-sets, some will remain and some will need to be changed - those that remain and those that change depend entirely on how closely your current taillights operate the way that you want I have the vw dealer pinouts (in norwegian) so I can re-check my work. hmm.......... OK. I have no idea what you mean by "printouts" - are these wiring diagrams similar to the one that I posted in my first reply?

Is there a way to adjust the auto headlights so they come on much later? I already have the setting to "late" but I still feel like they switch on too early.
