Must be a simple fix if they changed it mid-production. Try this: Go to Module 09 Electronic control unit Enter Spiegelverstellung In Funk Spiegelanklappung Modus, set value "by look command via remote control key" In Funk Spiegelanklappen, set value "On" In Menusteuerung Funk Spiegel anklappen, put value "Activated" If you want them to be displayed when the contact is pressed, instead of when opening the control / door (Thanks to HandyMan) In Signalisierung_Spiegelanklappung, set value "Not Activated" Confirm, code 31347 Read more: forum.obdeleven.com/thread/2551/mirror-fold-unfold-ignition#ixzz5Vp0ABWt3

Use the app, 100 credits, video in motion, as you can’t hack the security code it needs to enable it with long coding

Hi, I’ve got Leon 5f 2013. Yesterday I had fantastic plan to do basic settings of steering wheel angle sensor. I did reset to factory settings, and boom. I have now esc system fault, steering system fault, tyres pressure monitoring system fault, s&s system fault and parking radar doesnt work. Steering wheel works weird, Stg 44 have fault about steering angle sensor no basic settings, and its not calibrated. I tried to do basic settings but still no working. Anybody knows how to calibrate steering angle sensor? I go to basic settings in stg 44, run steering angle sensor initialization the steereing wheel moves left and right by own until its done but seems nothing calibrated at all. I did it couple of times without any result. Then I go to steering angle sensor in basic settings. Run. During this process I turn steering wheel all way round to the left, then to the right and then stop. Sensor still not calibrated. I have no idea what to do or what did I wrong. Please help!

n4zboii when you say you are unable to see the further steps the coding you show says BLK light fitting VL B36 I think what you are looking for is Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36: Leuchte1BLK VRB20: is a valid value Where it says light function I suspect that should be Lichtfunktion B 1:

Hello all, I have a 2011 Touareg and OBDEleven pro. I've used the apps and credits to change a few things on the vehicle but want to do others that I don't see apps for. I know coding is the way to go but not sure what values to use or if they are possible for my vehicle. 1- It says fog lamps can be turned on with blinker. Mine are already activated by default. What value do I use to turn them off? Fog Lights With Blinker Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics) Security access Access Code 31347 Adaptation (2)-Static AFS Light Vorschrift Value=FMVSS 517 108
2- I want to change the comfort signal from 3 to 5. It shows the coding to do this but it doesn't show up. Can anyone confirm it works for my year/model. Comfort Blink Cycle Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics) Security access Access Code 31347 Adaptation Comfort Sinyal Sayısı (Cycles) Value: 1-5 Value 3 (standard - 3x blinking)
3- I want to have the headlights come on (switch is in auto) when the windshield wiper switch is turned on. It's a law here in the US to turn your headlights on when using your wipers. If it's not dark enough when it's raining, even lightly, I have to turn them on manually.
4- I want to turn off the fog lights on when reversing feature. I never understood this feature in the first place. I'm usually looking back when backing up.
Thanks

2. You need to reset the car so it works, normally (I can’t confirm on your car tho as I haven’t got one) 4. It’s rear fogs not fronts, so it makes it brighter back there

It’s rear fogs not fronts, so it makes it brighter back there Actually it's the front fog lamps that come on. The only rear light when reversing are the reverse (white) lights which I already converted to no error CAN-bus LED's.As far as a reset are you talking about the menu option to reset the lighting settings? If so I haven't done that yet.As far as the comfort blinks I can put in the security code but then it asks what channel to go to. The post doesn't mention this so I'm not sure where and if it can be done. Hopefully someone has figured it out for the '11 and up Tregs.

Hello , Id like to know if the coding process for (dynamic breaks ) is the one to enable the emergency flashing brakes lights when hard braking ? I don't know how to acces the channel in adaptation mod !! Is channel =bytes and value=bit ? anyone can help me ? Only thing I found is THIS Select control unit( brakes) Adaptation Channel 9 Value 2 mathmk7: Hello. Not sure where you got your instructions, but they are not suitable for a mk7! I have no idea whether this will work and my suggestion is totally untested, but you might want to try the following: - Select Central Electrics
- Select Security Access
- Enter magic number 31347
- Select Adaptation
- Search for Assistance light functions
- Select Notbremsanzeige NBA (which means in English) emergency brake announcementNBA
- change value to active
- exit software
- Drive at reasonable speed with someone driving behind the car
- When safe to do so, brake hard and see whether the brake lights flash
As I said, this is just a guess, but the RoW vehicles in my database have this channel setting as "active" whereas the NAR models have a factory setting of "not active"

Tried this and could not get the OBD11 to accept the change - “wrong diagnostic mode” error message. Had to access subsystems “RLHS”, then Adaptations, Assistance Light Functions, etc, and the change was accepted. Hope this helps.

Hello! How is XDS enabled? I have learned that Byte 28 from 03 ABS -> 07 Long coding holds the answer, as much as Byte 29 does for the ESC. Can anyone help in this regard?
Thanks.

Hello, I recently added led bulbs(H7) to my cornering lamps (the ones that only turn on when turning). They work properly but I get an error code randomly. Presumably because of the change in voltage.
Can someone advise where to go to in central electrics to change the bulb to LED and hopefully remove this error?

Presumably because of the change in voltage. Can someone advise where to go to in central electrics to change the bulb to LED and hopefully remove this error? Try this: - Go to the Central Elec module @ address hex09
- Type-in the magic number 31347 in the security code section
- Go to Adaptations
- Search for Leuchte12NL LB45 (this is the left-side Fog/Cornering Lamp) and select Lasttyp 12
- change value from 10 - allgemeine Scheinwerfer to one of the LED settings (perhaps 36 LED Kleinleistung)
- Search for Leuchte13NL RB5 (this is the right side Fog/Cornering lamp) and select Lasttyp 13
- Repeat Step 5 above

It's very difficult to provide a definitive response to that type of error message because it's a very general DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) and it's cause can be many and varied!! For what it's worth (and I apologize for not being more specific), I suggest that you have a look in your history file for any changes that were made to the car before and around the time when the DTC first appeared. If you want any further advice, please post-up a copy of your history records here - this can be done like this: Send yourself an email, open it, then cut-and-paste the pertinent period of the records here. dv52 (Australia) Bonjour, le problème est que je n’ai pas d’historique car cela a été fait avant mon achat de l’ODB11 florian: Sorry, but my French language skills are non-existent, so I'm using Mr. Google's translator - hope my response below makes sense!
Don
PS: here's the English (or, rather Aussie) language version -
hmm............. okay -that complicates the problem significantly!
If you don't have any history records for your car - the only other suggestion is to find a list of factory settings for the dashboard module (@ address hex17) for your model from the net.
OBD11 has back-up files that will suffice, or you can use "adaptation channel maps" (or admaps) from VCDS.
If you can find a copy of either of these files on the net for your particular model mk7 - it's then just a matter of checking each adaptation channel setting (there will be about 250 channels) and you will also need to check each Byte/Bit in the module's code-string.
Yes, it's a tedious task, but this is the cost of not having any history records!
Of course, the other method is to get your friendly (read "expensive") VW dealer to reload the factory database for your model Mk7. Not sure what this will cost - but you should expect a price close to the annual budget of a small African country in my experience!
