Caddy 4 2 l TDi (DFS(B)) engine 150 ps
Greetings, I need to prime/purge/bleed the high pressure fuel pump - I've just changed the injectors and have coded them in. I cannot find the option for the HP pump, I watched a youtube vid and the guy went to basic settings and then entered block 35. I don't get the option to enter a block number, I just get a drop down with numerous options, I found the pick-up pump (tank) and have successfully ran that.
Where do I find the option to run the HP pump?
Thanks Paul

Follow up.
I paid for access to the online VW manual.
I found the chapter for installing the HPFP, it needs to be filled with fuel and to do task you have connect the diagnostic tester and go to Fill or Bleed fuel system.
There is an option for filling the fuel system in OBDeleven - it requires 2 figures entering in. 1 is for litres of fuel and I think the other one is for time - VW says 3 minutes but does not give how many litres. I will take another look tomorrow.

SOLVED - Basic Settings then select Initial Fill (last one on the drop down menu), enter 60 and 10 (which is 60 seconds and 10 litres), long press on the green tick. You'll hear the tank pump start and if you listen careful you'll hear a very gentle buzz from HPFP. Repeat 3 times (3mins) and start. It took about 4 seconds of cranking before she fired up.
