Buyer beware.
I had a device fail in 11 months of operation. Condemned by their IT support, Tomas, from within the app.
When asked for proof of purchase I provided the Amazon invoice from last year showing VoltasIT as the seller. Direct from the source.
I was then told that all warranty needed to be processed by Amazon. Contacted Amazon and they told me that this was well outside of their window for returns and to contact the seller.
Using the link Amazon provided, I reached out. The response I received this morning? That it’s still Voltas support and I need to go through Amazon.
Wtf. Don’t buy this product. 2 year device warranty is a lie. Buyer beware.

That's a misleading statement. Depends on the country you purchased it in. Some have Consumer Protection Laws regarding Warranties. We have such laws in Australia that protect the consumer with regards to warranties. The product has to be fit for purpose throughout the warranty period. When a Manufacturer offers a Product Warranty they are the ones that have to honour it, not the retailer who sold it. The retailers may have to be the go between to solve the warranty issues but are not liable for the warranty itself. e.g. Having to take your car back to the dealer for Warranty Repairs. Amazon are only a Seller/Buyer Platform. Amazon only protects you against the seller, not the product being sold. Let the Manufacturer/Reseller be aware of any Consumer Laws relevant to your country. See how fast they get it sorted.
