Hello from a newbie! Concerning VW Passat B51.9 TDI [AFN] from 1999 and OBDeleven Pro older hardware (Android, white box). Some days ago I went to a ride with my old Passat B5 which was standing 3 months on the parking and which I'm planning to sell. By the ocassion I decided to connect my OBDeleven just because I've been curious what could be found in the error memory. Also maybe to delete the errors which don't necessarily have to be seen by future buyer And it did not work. Application did not connect to the modules in the car. The only what I have seen was the battery voltage. Attempt to read any data from any module ended up with "Cannot connect - Turn the ignition ON" error message. Ignition was apparently ON, the box was inserted firmly (not an easy thing with B5 ), on the box the red LED was lit plus green and yellow were blinking during connection attempts. The car has an alarm system Dest DOG but I do not think it blocks OBD - some time ago I was at the garage to delete airbag errors and with different tester it ran without any problem. The same OBDeleven box with another car (VW Tiguan from 2011) works like a charm. I searched several forums but could not find a similar case with solution. Could anybody help with any idea?

I can't connect to car. One time it connected and I could see all fault codes. But not it's not connecting. Chinese OBD connects and shows some real time data, but no fault codes.
