Hi,
I have problem with Formentor trouble code B17D7F0. Problem is scanned in central electrics. I reverted all my coding to factory settings but that fault is still there. In my backup there is no long coding code for that unite.
Please can someone help me?

Did you resolve this?

Yes I did. With OBD11 I couldn’t find what is problem, but with professional tool I found what is problem. Problem was with lights on the roof, which cause OBD11 adaptation.
Also I would like to mention that few one click app don’t work. Be careful with a adaptation !

Professional solved me that problem, because with OBD11 I couldn’t solved it.
He used Odis to fix that problem.

I'm interested in this too. What caused it (what coding?) and was Odis really the only way? Was it enough to rewrite module 09?

i dont know why this problem appear, obdeleven (voltas) unfortunately could not help either. The only thing that helped is to load the factory settings from 09 via ODIS.
The error has something to do with the front headlights, there is something happened with the basic setting.
The error happens sporadically, not because of apps, but also when coding.

Hi guys, I'm just joying to the club of B17D7F0 on my Octavia NX for the same 09 - Central Electrics module when I use the "Interior Fading" App activation. Has anybody else raise a ticket/issue to the Voltas Experts? It seems to me a major problem since the basic/default settings for the module got lost and it needs to be uploaded again.
Regards, DN

Yes, I sent them an email, but the experts have been telling me for 2 weeks that I should undo all adaptations, then should the error disappear. They just don't want to understand that I've already reset all the adaptations from backup which I did before I start to change settings. Many others have already tried this without the great hint from the support.
I didn't even change that much between the backup and the first scan with the error but I also ran the "Interior Fading", maybe it is because this app? My interior light keeps fading even after I disabled the app again ?!?
however, other guys reports that it can also just happen when coding.

Hi, I've raised a question to the support bot in the meantime, hopefully someone will reply to my question early next week. I also reverted all my changes (1-click APPs, Adaptations, Long codings) but with no luck. The error is still there when I tried to clear it. 2 new questions:1. Does anybody else try to use the "reset" option on the 09 module? What it actually do: soft or hard reset?
2. From what I can see in the OBD11 app, there is an option "Basic settings" for each car module. Maybe if we can find the exact settings and try to apply on 09 module, we will be able to get rid of this annoying fault?
Thx

"Geführte Fehlersuche" (GFS in german) --> guided troubleshooting/debugging

can you explain that in a bit more detail?

"Geführte Fehlersuche" (GFS in german) --> guided troubleshooting/debugging This is also not possible, it makes no difference whether it is deleted in the self-diagnosis or the GFS, so this is not a possible solution!

"Geführte Fehlersuche" (GFS in german) --> guided troubleshooting/debugging can you describe that in more detail? I think not only I, but many affected users would be grateful for a possible solution!

Since there is no answer, clearing the error doesn't work as @c4nb!z described. As always, don't expect any real help

save yourself a lot of time investigate this erro. u cant erase it, nor any other action. the wag group secure few moduls through ODIS like central electric, multifunctional module , gateway etc. i have tis fault code for the second time. the firsta time i mde mistake with multif.module and all matrix lights stoped working properly. skoda dealer service needed to contact central server skoda and do overwright CE module , it costed me like 130 eur. all because of that error. today i wanted to do something wih headlamp system. it makes me crazy when i start the car and tray to wash windscreen it startde to wash headlam as well . its pain in the ass. no point of set like every 5 or 10y wash. if u stop the engine and start again it will wash headlamp after use stalk for washing windshield .... ofc now i got the same erroor like before. there is no effects on system but it sucks .

the following list will cause to B17D7F0 - Adaptation Invalid.
Disable Headlight Washer Disable rear wiper Enable interior light fading And so on…
You enable it and dtc came out. You can’t revert it back anymore unless you do SVm or upload the dataset from your car. If you want above function, and no dtc as well. You need customized dataset.
