Can someone post instructions for this
I have done this many times before but doesn’t seem to be working now
I'm aware the mib has to be the newer version with the images in the drive profile selection
can anyone assist (DV52) 🙂😁

Cant post it as it would get taken down by a mod as it can damage some cars and I guess voltas don’t wanna be held responsible for that

Not for stuff that can damage cars, as this mod only worked on very few cars

Yeah I have that with another thing to code, I also have it that if you don’t have the drive profile you don’t set it, plus the individual one you have set to 8 from 7 I have it you have to set it to one that’s not been changed

Hi, Sorry for bumping an old thread. I have a 2019 Passat B8.5 with Ambient+ from the factory.. I have done the adaptions to enable custom colours for the profiles and it's worked fine. However Profile 0 (engine off, door open, coming home etc) doesn't work properly.
When I do those things it just displays the colour of the last profile I selected.
I'd love to have everything light up white, until I switch the engine on. Does anyone know if there is another setting I need to change to get this last piece to work?
Any help would be massively appreciated
Thanks Mike

Fahrprofil_0?
at present it's set to 1 which is white. But i use purple for Comfort mode which is the colour it shows when i turn off.
I just noticed your comment on changing the individual channel to one that hasn't been changed due to a bug. Could that be it?
- Ambiente_Fahrprofil_Individual -> 8 (Default -> 7) (Fix a bug)
I also have it that if you don’t have the drive profile you don’t set it, plus the individual one you have set to 8 from 7 I have it you have to set it to one that’s not been changed
Should I do this?

Just to add. I realise the are no colour strips showing when I unlock. Only the normal interior lights.
The colour only shows when I open the door.

This may help a bit
Fahrprofil_0: 5 - Coming/leaving home (door open and car off) - Fahrprofil_1: 8 - Comfort (leave 1 on Golf GTI/GTD that don't have the Comfort profile) - Fahrprofil_2: 3 - Normal - Fahrprofil_3: 4 - Sport (leave 1 on Golf R that don't have the Sport profile) - Fahrprofil_4: 1 - Fahrprofil_5: 9 - Eco - Fahrprofil_6: 1 - Race (set a different number only if you have the Race profile) - Fahrprofil_7: 7 - Individual - Fahrprofil_8: 1
Plus
Ambiente_Farbwahl_Individual -> 4 or another profile number NOT present (Default 7)
As I understand setting them to 1 leaves them deactivated
Do you understand what all this does/mean? Or do I have to explain it more in-depth?

Thank you. I’ll reset the ones that aren’t used and set the individual to one of those numbers.
It does seem fine otherwise. I’m wondering if profile-0 simply isn’t used in my car.

Because that’s what your telling it by saying it’s 1, try changing to a different colour to see if it does what you want in that colour, then maybe set colour 30 to white and set f_0 to 30

I had tried other colours but just reverted all unused lines back to original values. Set the individual setting to 9, an unused line
So now F 0 is on 2 but still no change The weird thing is, when locking and unlocking the door strips don’t light up at all. It’s almost as if the coming home settings need changing
Trouble is I cant recall If they used to light up before I started fiddling.
Thank you again for helping. It’s working fine apart from the F 0

Looking back at my history, it occurs to me P 0 was set to 1 as standard. Looking in the ŠKODA forums it is set to a colour as standard. So it seems like it’s not used on the Passat.
A shame as I love the idea.
