Hi everyone. My ID3 is 1 year old today and has been pestering me for weeks to get it serviced. It would seem that the supplying dealership set it up with an annual service regime in error. I don't want to be pestered for the next 12 months that it needs a service. I could ask the supplying dealership to reset it, except they're 245 miles away. My local dealership group won't do ut ("only the supplying dealership can do this" - we all know that isn't true).
Does anyone know if its possible via OBD11 and the procedure for doing so?

Hi, unfortunately for you, only Volkswagen can do this operation.
I think there may be a solution by digging into the car's modules (I don't know how), but it's strongly discouraged if you don't want to lose another year of warranty.
I had a problem when switching to update 2.1 it had reset the maintenance counter to zero, I had no alerts but I noticed it before and it corrected the problem when I another appointment for a repair.

Service_intervall in adaption 0x005F seems to hold the data. Don't know if you can write it through that channel though.

After my local dealership saying only the supplying dealership could do it, I got in touch with VW UK and they persuaded the local dealership to do it. The car was in the workshop 4 minutes and the job was done.

Go to 5F then
-Adaptation then
-service interval then
- inspection, distance driven since the last inspection (write 0 km) then
- inspection, time since the last inspection (write 0 d)
