I changed to value of the first 2 to 7ffff.. and it added 30 colors automatically on octavia NX, but the brightness of the ambient light is so weak, any idea how to increase the brightness or if there is any other option I should change

So I just found out how to get the purple colour: You just have to add a "new user". The purple colour seems to come as stock colour in "individual" mode. Don't use "quest user" but simply add a new user. The purple colour will not show up in the colour pallet, so I don't know that when you change the colour if it's still possible to change back to purple again. I haven't tried that yet. And of course you will have to set-up all personal settings again and you have to keep using this new profile to keep the purple colour, but still... I think the purple colour is worth it.  Also, maybe after doing this it's possible to read out and / or compare data in the OBD app and that way find out how to add the colour in the colour pallet. My knowledge for OBD doesn't go that far so if someone can figure this out.....please share. |

Sadly, it doesn’t work on my Leon even tough I had the purple initially as guest.
Could you post your adaptations in 09 central electric > interior light hmi config ?

Hi have 1899 and color is purple for new user
Purple is only available as the default colour for "Individual" settings, if you pick another colour in the Individual screen you don't have the ability to choose purple again (purple is not purposed)

Looks like there's been a time jump backward following the previous discussions.
Anyway, to add to the latest klez comment, I'm on 1899 and even adding a new user doesn't reset the individual color to purple. It will be kind of a grey in my case.
It seems obvious that we cannot get the purple color with obd11 contrary to our friends owning a skoda or a golf.

The purple color only work on software 1890, tested and worked, other software version it doesn't show on it.
As informed before I don't mind to share anything I know with respected people who need help and also I'm not looking for income as I helped many people in and outside the forum and on obdeleven Facebook group
Again I own and created my own app for the ambient light colors as shown on video below
it doesn't make sense to accuse people with fake and void accusations because of not helping you

Basically, he cannot help you.
You would need to be on the 1890 firmware which 95% of users never had because of their car config and that 95% of leon/cupra users dont have anymore because we all updated to 1896 and 1898.

yes It's possible from stock with h58 hardware but not H56
