Yes, I've seen that they add 2 apps for Kamiq with wireless option. I will try this week but I have no hope that it will work with my 871B unit. Thanks Edit: mission failed. App not working so OBD11 team should add description that the app works only with limited version of headunits. Hello, It's already written in app description that it's for MIB3, Bolero is identified as MEN3 (MIB3 entry - lower level).  So will it work with these Bolero specs? |

Thank you very much I will try the app tommorow first thing in the morning!
My car has CarPlay and Android Auto enabled by cable. I just need the Wireless CarPlay version which as seen from the description is what this apps makes.
My hardware is H56 with part number 575035862C.
Will this app work on it?

I’m sorry for my English. Will this feature come for the Skoda Fabia IV? Most apps in Scala and Kamiq are still not available for Fabia IV. Isn't it basically all the same car?

As other users say with theirs Bolero, not working. Some users with Bolero but with another hardware number claim to have wifi. So it's not a common problem because of the bolero. The most usual conclusion is that it needs a fec to be enabled |

T2cool did you have WiFi already in your trim? How I understood, having WiFi requires FEC and who doesn't have it can not use wireless whatever, but who have it can. Guys can you confirm it?
I don't have WiFi, so haven't tried app, but since I have credits I'll try it in a few day, as I don't have mobile reception in the underground garage where I park the car.

The app is working perfectly with my Tarraco. I have wireless CarPlay now. Thank you! There is no documentation about wireless carplay and we testing on all possible variants till we get all needed info. For now we still haven't tested for other bolero softwares. |

As I said before there is no official list of cars and multimedia types which have WIFI devices.

Maybe I'm misunderstood, and the original question was if the owner of a car already had the WiFi Hotspot option (it was included in the car's equipment) before activating wireless CarPlay with your application using ODB11.

It did not work, neither Android Auto nor Carplay, as I don't have built-in WiFi. Left it on, not to spend additional 200 credits.

I am sorry for my delayed answer. I was away.
Yes my car has Wifi Hotspot and I can also share my phone hotspot to my car.
I have used the wireless carplay with no problems so far.
Acutally I had screen problems with the cable which are not present on the wireless version.
I have not made tests with Android since I do not have this kind of phone.

So to conclude, if your MMI has working WiFi functionality, it is possible to have wireless CarPlay, otherwise this app will not work with you.
