Hi all!
Is there a chance to code the engine power from 107 KW to 150 KW. As far as I have read, the engine is the same and is still limited by software.
Also in the 107 KW Model there is no Sport Mode to chose. Only Eco and Comfort (and Individual) are available.
I'm grateful for every hint.

Hello, I have the sport mode in my ID.3 1 ST PLUS, but this mode does not unlock more power, the car is still limited to 160KM / h. it is the behavior of the car which changes in sport mode like the direction which hardens a little and the suspenssion which modifies it also. I only have the Plus and in the Max it seems to me that the suspension is more active than in the Plus model (to be checked).
For the sake of battery warranty I strongly advise you not to change anything before the 8 year warranty.
Otherwise you risk losing a lot of money because of it.
I heard where it may be that VW is going to be a remotor, during the next updates increase the capacity of its charger to charge faster, but also the increase in speed currently limited to 160Km / h, I have great doubts about this reumeur, but why not?

...Max changing speed will increase from 125 kwh to 135 kwh in Software version 3.0. Set to be rolled out in march '22. Lets hope for more updates of this kind .. My expected changing speed by end 2023 is 175 kwh by software updates. But this may just be hopium still  |

Is there maybe a chance to code at least the Sport Mode into the driving modes? I don't have this option right now.

I don't think you can touch that, those modules that control the engine are super protected for safety and homologation reasons, you would be changing the fiscal power of the engine so you would have to pay more taxes and that is illegal. It would also affect the homologation of the car in the industry and also the safety.
Access to these super-protected ECUs can only be done with a token that VW supplies together with your VIN chassis number and they are normally unique codes for each vehicle.
Don't lose hope because maybe, in the future InCarShop that will be released with version 3.0, you will be able to unlock these HPs for a modest fee.

I can also advise you not to do so at the risk of losing your 8-year battery warranty. Mostly ! I wish you not to lose your life or that of another in the event of an accident, otherwise you will not be insured in the event of a modification on your part. |
