Hi, I’m currently trying to get the pace car style lights to only come on with hazard lights. From the testing I did with the automated apps it also changes the style of indicators. I have a look for long coding versions however they all seemed to also change the indicators? Anyone managed to have any luck just changing the hazards?

Luke: Hi.
I authored instructions for this tweak on my local forum HERE. As you can see, the steps were written for VCDS, but it's easy to translate into OBD11 speak.
On your car, because it's a MY18 build - the differences will be: - Dimmwert AB = 127 (not an issue because the value for this adaptation channel isn't changed)
- In the "Active with hazard warning light" box - search for "blinker" and select Außenlicht_Blinker instead of Dyn. turn signal modes
- Don't make the changes indicated in the "Acknowledgement with central locking" box

Hi, I'm still struggling to get the desired effect. I've managed to change the adaptation channels both sides with no issues which is giving the correct effect with hazard lights on. I've not had to change the Warnblinken_Zuendung_EIN & Warnblinken_Zuendung_AUS as they are both already set to aktiv. However when indicating they are now very confusing as they flash both directions. I would like to keep the hazards lights like they are in the video below however keep the indicators stock if possible. luke:hmm....... OK - double check that you have used the correct "links" "rechts" commands. l will try to find a car with your newer central electrics module and make the changes. I will report back
