Hi Team, I am from India. I have a Polo 1.5 TDI Trendline (2017 November Purchase). There is no wireless key remote for this car. I want to add the remote key to the car. I heard that the BCM already supports this remote key. I purchased an OEM wireless key from the near store. 1.Is it possible to add the key using ' OBDeleven device €39.99'? 2.Can I do coding on ' OBDeleven device €39.99' ? 3.Or do I have to purchase ' NextGen OBDeleven device €59.99' ? 4.Where I can get the instructions/manuals for doing this ? (I don't know how to do this using OBDElevan device)

jinto1729 : With the caveat that I'm not familiar with the version of Polo that was sold in India in 2017 - I suspect that it contained generation V immobolizer on cars that were factory fitted with wireless key remote. If I'm correct, there are lots of NO answers to your questions. First, the CAN network topology for generation V immobolizer doesn't include the BCM (i.e the central electrics module @ hex09).. The immobilizer is part of the module that OBD11 calls "Dashboard" (i.e. @ address hex17). The actual CAN arrangement is like this:
The other aspect of the answers to your questions is that (at least officially) programming gen V immobilizer needs a remote connection to the central database on the VW mother-ship (it's called "FAZIT"). Only registers agents (like dealers) have access to this database.
So, bottom line: No version of OBD11 can be used to program the immobilizer
