Hi, I'm new to the forum and to the OBD Eleven.
I had a quick initial play, but I could not find a 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet (B6 8H) under the option so I selected the A4 saloon.
However, I have now discovered that the A4 Cabriolet has its own listing someway further down the listings, but when I try to edit my car it won't let me edit the model field only the variant ?
Any help much appreciated
Dave.

I think its best to delete the "other" car. And scan again.

OK thanks, is there a limit to the number of cars you can use it in ? I've seen somewhere that it records the VIN ?

There is no limit to how many cars you can connect to (unlike a VCDS cable) that im aware of, and yes once connected/scanned it will capture all vehicle data including vin this will enable obdeleven to know whats in the car etc
This will also enable you to look through the control units at a later date when not connected to that vehicle in the garage function, history files.

OK Thanks, I have deleted the wrong model and rescanned with the correct model.
Can I leave the OBD11 plugged into the car for an extended period or will it tend to discharge the battery if left in for a few days without using the vehicle ?
OK don't bother to answer this as I found out it has drained my battery after about 12 hours !
Battery Volts were down to 8v and doors would not operate so it must use quite a lot of power ?
Battery is only about 2 yrs old and is a Bosch one so I'm quite surprised it drained it so fast !
