You can configure the led color in the app settings. (Dongle must be connected to car)

Yes, but how? I’ve looked around and can’t seem to locate it, unless that feature isn’t available for iOS?

Yea that’s not present for iOS. Will it get added? The FAQ page the only answer to can you change the LED color is Yes. When the answer should be more along the lines of, “Yes, if you have an Android device, as this is not supported on iOS. To change the color, please follow this link”.

You can send the support a message and tell them to update the FAQ.

Just to add into this the Help pages are in a very confused state as in my view they dont have a clear direction. Firstly they have separate lines for Android and IOS and there is very little mention of the other application on each application help pages. Secondly the IOS App is missing a lot of stuff which I have documented some on this forum but they dont show a lot of this on the site. But specifically to this question voltas-it.helpshift.com/hc/en/3-obdeleven-android/faq/393-how-to-change-the-color-of-led-on-next-generation-device/has the following comment
You can change the color of the LED only on Android by using the Next-Generation device. Follow the instructions: Yes you can ask the dev team to add this along with all the other missing stuff on IOS but I have to say in terms of priority I think there are some much more important items like Charts, Language support and Long Coding user labels.
Just my opinion.

I don’t disagree with that assessment, those are more important needs. If the FAQ only response is Yes then the expectation is that it works as advertised.

I agree but at the same time there are lots of things that are advertised that dont work (IOS vs Android or things like Charts and Guages etc)
Plus stuff like Carvertical that states Uncover mileage fraud and accidents of the vehicle. Yes this works but only in certain locations. I think the problem (for the user) is that OBD11 Help pages are confused. So if you go to the FAQ Pages and search you will find under next generation device Can I change the LED color? Yes. You can set the desired LED light color. But if you then select the Technical FAQ (Bottom of the FAQ Page) and under android you will get voltas-it.helpshift.com/hc/en/3-obdeleven-android/faq/393-how-to-change-the-color-of-led-on-next-generation-device/which as i said earlier shows you can only do it on Android. If you then change the Technical FAQ To IOS you get nothing. I have spent the last week pointing out numerous erros with the help files (which they have now fixed) but in my view these are not the best help files. I would also add that they are now including German help files and again you can get different answers according to looking in English vs German. Anyway enough of my complaints, hopefully they will get it sorted in the end, I have reported it directly.
