Hello everyone looking for some advice Changed my climatronic unit to the LCD versions from AliExpress a.aliexpress.com/_m0AP8DXAfter the owner said it was plug and play I had issues with the AC not working correctly this is now resolved. But after copying the coding across from the old unit I have lost the function to activate Air Care the Air Care Menu is still on on the mib screen but when I try to enabled it it just won’t work. I now have the following code B108B54 Fresh Air,Recirculation Air Flow flap motor No basic setting I have tired everything I can think of but I cannot get it working my car is a 2019 GTi Any advice appreciated

have you tried looking in OBD11 Basic setting option on the hex08 module for an air flap motor procedure?

When you change any module on a car - it's really good practice to make records of ALL (emphasis on ALL) the information from the old module before removing it.
The 2 x principal data-sets that you need from the old module are the value of the long-code string and a FULL listing of ALL the adaptation channels and their values.
These data-sets can normally be obtained by making a back-up of the module in OBD11 - but I also like noting the data on info and advanced identification options in OBD11 (this information can be handy if there are compatibility issues with the new module).
The reason that you want to do this is because the long-code and channel values are the factory setting for how the car was built. When you install the new module, it's generally necessary to replicate these values into the new module.
