Just a quick question please, I have the OBDEleven for my Audi and was wondering if this would work on my lads Mitsubishi Grandis as it has the VW 2.0 PD engine in it. The car is surging when warm and is smoking a bit so I wanted to check the individual injectors etc. Will even VAGcom work on this if not? Cheers.

mark- only one way to find-out, try it!! Plug the dongle into the OBD port and attempt to connect to the software. Not sure if OBD11 will recognize the VIN - you might need to experiment with a few different car types. If you get as far as the screen that says "scan" -try it (you are only reading modules, so not much risk

Just to add to dv52 (Australia) post, OBD11 Does allow you to connect to some (I know that Porche and honda and some old Volvo dont work) via a single control unit Have a look here for more details, if you get that level of connection then you wont be able to check out the stuff you are interested.
