Hey folks, today I played around with OBDeleven and checked out the adaption in module 19, "Deaktivierung der Start-Stopp-Funktion" (deactivating start-stop function).
My car is a Leon 5F FR 2.0 TDI from 07-2020, MY2019, one of the very very very latest!
5 options are available: Modus nicht aktiv ..................................(Mode not active) Stoppfreigabe .......................................(stop enabling) Stoppverbot, keine Startanforderung ....... (stop prohibition, no start request) Startanforderung.................................. (start request) Systemfelhler ........................................(system error)
Preventing my Leon from performing the stop routine this was possible with option 3 and 4. The start-stop-system wasn't possible to reactive. The sign inside the dashboard showed my, that at the moment start-stop is inactive. Hopefully the option will be set also after a couple of days.
But: Is somebody out there, who can explain in detail, what the differences are!?!
Thanks in advance! Kay

In general the stop start feature when turned off does just that, it stays off.
The Cupra R came with memory function so from the stop start switch you could turn it off and it would stay off till your turned in back on again. This can also be achieved using a Memory key fitted to the car (which I have had for a few years now).
With regards to other coding the below has working on both the Mk3 and the MK4 cars
Deactivate Stop Start
- Select Control Unit 08 (Air Conditioning) - Select Adaptation - Select Deactivation of Start Stop Function
But as far as I am aware you have to have the Air Con turned on.

Is it possible to code the memory on the start stop, like the memory function @heated seats as a sample..

Honest answer is I do not know.
Personally I fitted a memory module which solved that issue because all the coding i have seen just turns off the stop start.
The Aircon one works (based on what i have read) to some degree but in order to have Stop Start on again you have to turn the Air Con off otherwise the switch is active as stock. Not exactly a memory of how it was last but it sort of works. But I will stress I dont have a facelift car so can only go on what others have said.
