Hello all.
I would like to change my stereo to an aftermarket unit but I’m not really sure how this would work in terms of changing settings for the car etc?
I’m someone could shed some light then it would be much appreciated.

danmw89: Hi and welcome to the forum. hmm........... that's an extremely broad question because it encompasses every variation of after-market "stereo" (radio, multi-media, external amplifier etc) for every known model of car (ever built) with which OBD11 is compatible!!! Clearly the answer to such a far ranging question would need a very big effort!! Perhaps it might be prudent to put some bounds around your question with very basic information (maybe include stuff like make/model car, country of sale, what you mean by "stereo" etc)? Don

I too have a question, so I recently installed aftermarket radio (cheap Bluetooth receiver from walmart) in my 2006 a4 2.0t Quattro here in the U.S. I used a pac c2r-audi radio replacement interface. Now the radio control unit is not showing. Is the anything I missed what it point of interface if I can't connect to control unit?
