Hello forum, first i want to apologize for my bad english i come from germany  . That is my first post and i hope you can help me. In my MIB2.5 car menü (car -> settings -> assistants) it shows everything right until "Blind Spot" and "Side assistant". How can i remove this two points from my car menu? Thank you very much! edit: i think it is at control unit "5F" -> adaptions -> (maybe) Car Function Adaptions Gen2? but i can't find the right points... |

Hello .
Try uncheck in this menu.... menu display lane assistant and over threshold high too.. put in not active both.

dv52 (Australia)Thank you very much! That worked perfect. edit1: One last thing, under the menu point „car“ i have the point „Seats“ translated from german in english how can i delete this point? Because i dont have electric seats and when i want to enter „Seats“ it comes that this function is not available. Thank you very mich for the fast help!

I got new side mirrors and they don’t have the BSM indicators so I have lost function for them. How do I recode so that the warning light doesn’t come on each time? Basically I just want to deactivate BLIND SPOT MONITOR AND REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT to get rid of the warnings. Thanks

tiggr2019: So, your problem is a little different to OP in that I assume that your car has the 2 x rear-facing radar modules installed in the left/right side rear panels. This means that the modules will still continue to talk to the car's CAN network. You could try making the changes in my first reply - but the BSM modules will still be active unless you physically unplug the connector on these modules and you make changes to the Gateway Installation List. You might also need to uncheck Byte 4, Bit 6 on the hex17 module (Dashboard) Don

For a well done unfit, you would need to actually remove the units from the car.
Some more thoughts:
Removing them from the gateway installation list will raise "additional installations detected". So pulling the related fuse (if possible) should be considered.
BSD is also coded into steering, parking, electrics, camera and acc, besides 5F and dash. Look for missing message (in case you can disable or dismount them) or received errors (when you keep the bsd units) errors in other control units

 Turns out I didn’t need to code any thing. Just uncheck the BSM in the cockpit display. Sorry I didn’t think of that sooner. Thanks guys. |
