You can not change the time or lower the speed that lane assist works at. You can upgrade the software via VCP to include TJA which allows it to work down to 0mph.

Hello coopers, could you please explain a little bit for the beginners among us what do you mean by that :
"You can upgrade the software via VCP to include TJA which allows it to work down to 0mph." What to upgrade via VCP ? --> Which ECU ? what are the steps ?
What is VCP ? --> is it a Tool ?
What is TJA ? --> what function is this ?
Thank you Flo

OBDeleven can only change existing parameters on the car. To get TJA some firmware needs to be upgraded this can only be done by a dealer (not going to happen) or by Vag Can Pro (VCP). I believe that the camera has to be updated, i have not had it done yet. lots of other forums have information on it as well try looking at the Tiguan forum as the Tarroco is the same(ish) car. When activated Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) is the same as lane assist but down to 0 mph. The 15 second lock out is a hard lockout from VAG and it cant be changed a slight tap on the steering wheel does reset the timer

Any tip for cheating the system? I tried putting on a clip on the steering wheel that applyes presure and it doesen`t work. Also tried with a bottle of water and does not work either.
