The SportHMI menu has a SWAP code that allows it. In theory (and I don't know since when) all the DCCs incorporate this menu, and therefore, they have the SWAP code loaded.
The adaptation channels for the 5F are:
- Menu display SportHMI -- OPTIONS: (Not activated - Activated)
- Menu display SportHMI clamp 15 off -- OPTIONS: Not activated - Activated)
- Menu display SportHMI over threshold -- OPTIONS: Not activated - Activated)
- Menu display SportHMI standstill -- OPTIONS: Not activated - Activated)
- Menu display SportHMI after disclaimer -- OPTIONS: Not activated - Activated)
First and third activated.. then reboot infotainment.

Be nice if somebody can confirm this change works and on what model (eg year code and software version)

Nah. Does not work at all this way.
SportHMI (Performance Monitor) has been Swap ever since, which therefore needs a factory activation from VW. Not Swap, no Menu, no Fun. It is coupled with driving mode selection from factory btw (buying it in aftermarket does not enable the menu)
What is also true is that there are entries regarding that in Car_Function_Adaptions_Gen2. Even with SportHMI avaliable, working and so on, all entries are set to disabled, so they have no use at all - maybe they are used for development with special firmware...
