2019 S3, new OBD 11, upgraded to pro. I had no problem disabling the auto stop, before upgrading to pro. I’m trying to disable the exhaust valves, go to byte 9, uncheck 2 to disable, won’t accept the green check. Just a quick spin, and nothing.
Also can’t find the mirror dip?

Please open the hood before you start to code. Audi has build in some kind of coding protection.
Mirror dip instructions for the A3 8V(I think this should work with the S3 aswell): 1) Select CU 52 2) Long coding 3) Byte 04 4) Activate bit 2 and 3 5) Select CU 09 6) Security access 7) Use code 31347 8) Adaptation 9) Select "Kanal (15)-Zugangskontrolle 2-Spiegelabsenkung bei Rueckwaertsfahrt" 10) Set value to active

Just open the hood? Do nothing under it? Then follow your instructions?

FYI- opening the hood worked. Exhaust valves now open. Are you sure it's open? I had tried it and looks like the settings are accepted, but it didn't seem to have any effect on the valves. How do I know? One of my exhaust tip (outer driver's side) is always cleaner than the rest. The soot on my tips are not even.

To confirm, turn-on engine - go to the Engine module @ address hex01 - select Live Data - search for Exhaust flap - select ALL entries.
I don't have a screen-shot using OBD11, but here's a picture of the entries using VCDS - the Live Data entries (the 3 on the LHS of the pic) are exactly the same for OBD11. If your tweak was successful. you should get values like in the picture

The last element of this process you outline, 9/10 doesn't appear on my unit. I see and have carried out the previous 1-8, but I can't find "Kanal (15)-Zugangskontrolle 2-Spiegelabsenkung bei Rueckwaertsfahrt" in the Adaptation tab. Am I missing something? This dipping mirror ability does not seem to be willing to be coded on my car...!!?!! I'm a S3 2019 owner. Thx in advance for any responses.

velocitybraker in adaptations you need to enter "Zugangskontrolle 2" and then you can search for "Spiegelabsenkung bei Rueckwaertsfahrt"

thirsty, thank you for your swift response. No, that doesn't work for me! When I go to Adaptations and try to input "Zugangskontrolle 2" nothing happens. The search comes back with nothing! If I put enter(return) it just goes to the next line waiting for further text input. In other words "Zugangskontrolle 2" is not a selectable item in the adaptation entries. Again, I'm new here and am probably doing something wrong somehow.

Even when this is setup, do you find the valves open on engine start, or do you have to cycle thru the drive profiles to get to dynamic again to really hear them open? I want them open from start no matter what profile I am in, is this possible?
